I found this template to be accurate. Worked very well for my P bass project. I’m not sure why others complained of problems but my template is great. I look forward to using it on many future custom projects.

They seem a bit pricey, but they work.

Looks like a quality template but be sure it will match your pickups. Not all P-Bass pickups are the same size. This template did not come close to fitting the cheap Chinese pickups I bought.

Worked for the pickups I had but check attached picture for dimensions.

This is fine for what it is. But it's not for a standard P bass split set. Tried with a SD Quarter Pound set, as well, which also doesn't fit.Too wide in the neck <--> bridge axis, which isn't a deal breaker if you're using a guard or ring, though it will look kinda cruddy without one.BUT, and this is the important part, the corners are too rounded off to fit standard, more square-cornered covers. Extra material needs to be taken out to get regular pickup covers to fit in the cavity this template produces.

Too wide on the straight edges and pickup ears, but too narrow in the corners. Could not fit the pickups inside. Thought I would buy this instead of the stew mac template but was most likely a mistake.I would avoid buying this template.

I can't be used. Crap. The dimensions are wrong, and the whole thing is crooked.
