In the photo it looks more like a light muted green color while the actual hat itself is more of a medium grey. I was a bit surprised though I probably shouldn't have been because it says "gray" in the name but I guess I didn't see that. Anyway although I would have preferred the green the grey hat is nice too. It's soft and has a snug fit. The material might be just a tiny bit scratchy, though. There were no tears or holes in the fabric. I haven't actually gotten to wear it much yet but when the colder months come around and I wear it more often I will post an update if I feel the need to. Overall a good hat but it looks different than in the picture so I took off one star.
