L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss, Timeless, 0.17 Ounce

I previously gave this product a lower rating, but after retrying it a few months later, I have found that it is much better than I originally thought. When I first tried the product, I thought that it exaggerated every line in my lips and was uncomfortably sticky after applying. I started using a different brand of liquid lipstick before trying this brand again. When I applied it, I was shocked at how smooth and soft it felt on my lips. It was still sticky, but a bit of finishing powder easily fixed that. The stickiness is kind of annoying, but its easy to get used to of you don't have any setting or finishing powder. When I put it on, the color looked nice and the lines in my lips looked normal. The shape of the applicator made it so easy to draw a smooth line. I think that I only disliked this product before because it was my first time trying a liquid lipstick. Now that I am used to the application and the texture of this type of product, I appreciate it much more. Make sure you don't have super dry lips and apply it in a thin layer so that it isn't too sticky and so that it doesn't have a weird texture. If this is your first liquid lipstick and you decide you don't like the product, keep practicing or revisit it after some time has passed.

This is the stickiest lip product I've ever used! It takes about 10 minutes to dry, even after it looks matte, it's like glue on your lips. Weird. Colors pretty.

It applied fine but then it dried and my lips were getting stuck together, quite badly. I tried not to press them for a while thinking maybe it just needs a little time but that didn't help. In the pic where I'm pulling them apart (here I did press my lips together beforehand so that I could capture a good representation of how sticky it is) you can see what looks like a spike on my upper lip, that's just a piece of my lip that was pulled so hard it gave me a temporary lip stretch. It was also difficult to take off and because I had to scrub so hard my lips were left feeling raw and painful. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how much I love the color if nothing else about it looks or feels good. Because it was so cheap I won't bother to return it and will play around with it, maybe if I top it off with some gloss it'll help? We'll see.

This color was a lot brighter than I was anticipating/hoping for but still extremely beautiful, and very bold and opaque. The quality was amazing, as I've come to expect from the L.A. Girl cosmetics line, and these are still the only matte budget lipsticks that I can find that are actually matte and actually stay on all day. There will be some slight transfer with eating, drinking and in the case of smokers, but touchups are completely doable with this lipstick and it will not get gross and cakey, so long as you don't overdo it, but these (thankfully) are really hard to get wrong. I recommend having fully moisturized and exfoliated lips but do not use lip balm beforehand, as I imagine that would affect the staying power (haven't tried it). Overall love it, another great call from L.A. Girl and another happy customer. PS have noticed a lot of people on different blogs/forums complaining about the smell, and I just have to add that while it doesn't smell like flowers like some lipsticks do, the smell is only noticeable when applying and certainly nothing worth turning away this fantabulous lipstick over in my opinion. Can't wait to buy more!!

This is probably the best staying lipstick I've had. Don't use if you have a cut or chapped lips. There's some sort of alcohol that will burn you in it. The pigment is absolutely stunning and stays. Even if you eat or drink it stays! Be sure to have a remover unless you wanna wear it for a few days or take ur lips off trying to clean it off and don't mess up when applying!

The shade I selected was spot on, and very flattering on my particular skin tone and looked natural. The lip shade to select for a natural look is to look inside you lip, and for me it was rosy to medium pink and this shade worked when I want a casual look or on my day off and gym days with a hint of gloss. It can be drying to most but I did not have a problem.

Ugh, I wanted to love this liquid lip so bad. It does have pigmentation, but does not last long and even with a lip liner it slides all over your lips. I felt like I was eating more of it during lunch and drinking coffee that the amount of time I was wearing it for. It is cheap, so you are getting what you pay for, but if you want long lasting pay a little more.

OMG....Don't expect to keep applying this product to your lips throughout the day. It stays on!! I mean, stays on. You might have to re-apply after wearing for 8 hours, but who wouldn't need a touch up after 8 hours of talking and eating, etc?? The only issue I have with it, it's a little bit of a challenge to remove the color from your lips once you're ready to take it off. You'll have to scrub your lips awhile until the color fades. Maybe, I applied too much in the beginning? But nonetheless, just keep that in mind because after you scrub your lips you'll be going to bed with a slight color on your lips until the wee hours. Doesn't bother me, no irritation, so I don't think it's too big of a deal. Good price!!

Questa Nuance funziona un pò meglio del secret che è, a mio giudizio,troppo intenso. Comunque secca le labbra, infatti il colore tende a seccre mentre ancora lo si mette e così si possono creare antiestetici addensamenti di pigmentazione. All'interno soprattutto sul labbro inferiore tende a sbiadire lasciando una zona che ha bisogno di soventi ritocchi. Se si mangia, va via lasciando solo un effetto matita contorno labbra...

Ein sehr schönes Produkt! Lässt meine Lippen auch super aussehen und größer wirken. Einziger kleiner Nachteil ist das es ein wenig klebt. Ist meiner Meinung nach aber nicht so schlimm. Hält auch recht lange

J'aime beaucoup ce gloss la tenue est parfaite (trop même), la couleur est très belle peu ressemblante à celle de la photo (il vaut mieux regarder les tuto sur youtube pour faire son choix).J'ai aussi pris le "Fleur", "Bazar" et "Frisky" je les aime tous !!! Seul inconvénient: il est très difficile de le retirer que ce soit avec de l'eau micellaire ou du lait démaquillant... je ne sais pas s'il existe des démaquillants spéciaux ...

The colour of this lipstick is amazing! I wore it to work the day after I received it and got so many compliments on it saying how much they liked it and how bold it was. In terms of the actual product I love it. It goes on so well and is so easy to apply. It might need more than one coat because sometimes it can be a bit watery but not really a problem there. This lipstick literally stays on all day, I can drink and eat and it won't move a muscle. It's amazing, the only issue with this is that you have to scrub quite a lot to get it off, but it's worth it when it stays on for so long. I don't find it drying to my lips either, if anything, after I take it off I feel like my lips are smoother and not dry at all! Brilliant product, highly recommend. I have around 6 of the L.A girl matte lipsticks now and I'm in love with them all. The colours are amazing and they just look so good when they're on!
