Perfect Replacement for OEM Trunk Lid Struts
Just recently installed these replacement struts for the trunk lid of my 1999 C5 Corvette convertible (they fit C5/C6/C7 Convertibles) and they work just like brand new! 2006 C6 Corvette Convertible Trunk Lid
Worked flawlessly. Open trunk lid all the way. Slide a small flat-head driver into the small rounded tabs where the ball joint is on the ones that are there and pull off with a bit of pressure. Should slide off. Take the new ones out of plastic wrapping and orient them the same way as the factory ones. Then just push with a bit of pressure and they should pop on easily. Worked great on my setup to finally open the trunk lid enough to get my hand in there. I wish they made the trunk lid lighter to actually come up on its own. This made a significant difference from the factory Struts after replacement.

Easy and fast replacement
They are gas struts. Nothing complex here. They fit and they work really well and they were cheap. Can't ask for better than that.

Worked like a charm!
These went on with relative ease and as long as you follow instructions, you should have no issues. Installed these on our 99 Corvette convertible trunk and what a difference it makes! No more worrying the trunk is going to fall back down and hit me in the head when I am loading and unloading things!

Perfect fit for trunk on 2000 Convertible Corvette
Would recommend! Exact fit on my 2000 corvette convertible. The gas struts were the exact perfect length and the fittings fit perfectly on the ball anchors on my car. This product is what you want. Don't buy from "Beneges" I did to save a few bucks but they don't fit properly.

Great product
Now I have a trunk that actually pops up enough to open, the BIG plus is that it will not be blown shut landing on my head as it did last week :-0 Took that for me to buy these high quality superb functioning struts. I have now ordered the struts for the hood up front :-)
