I originally bought the 18 oz. cereal, salad, dessert bowls in assorted cool colors and loved them so much that I just had to buy the matching dinner plates. I actually waited almost 2 years because I did not need new dinner plates at all but I finally gave in and ordered them anyway. I honestly don't know why I waited so long because I absolutely love them! They are unique in their shape and the colors are gorgeous! My picture does not do these plates justice - they look much prettier in person. They are a nice, heavy weight and seem to be extremely durable. They were also packaged amazingly well and none of the plates arrived broken or chipped. I guess now I have to go ahead and buy the dessert/salad plates to complete my set!

It feels silly to love a set of plates so much, it makes me feel like I'm an old person. So we set a silly bar for our coffee mugs, have to have a handle that you can grip, big enough that you risk the coffee cooling before you finish the cup, and can't heat up in the microwave. After 6 months with the mugs, we realized Sweese checked all the boxes, so we looked into matching sets for the rest of our dinnerware. Jackpot, we bought it all! These dinner plates are the best plates I've ever owned, they check all the boxes and I've been buying spares when they go on sale just to have them on hand if an accident happens. They don't heat up in the microwave just like the mugs. They're large enough that you have a reliable place to hold onto the plate full of food. The curves are slight, so they hold juices in but are clearly not bowls. They're durable and haven't chipped and don't show knife marks yet (despite having them for 2+ years). Downside is they don't make the "summer" colors anymore. We've had a few "explode" which we can't really figure out; the plate will be on the table, with food on it and it'll just pop in half. Other than that, we love them!

These plates are SO pretty and I really love the shape and how they look on the table. HOWEVER, please be aware that they are NOT MICROWAVE SAFE! They crack when you use them in a microwave. I can live with this, but they are not as advertised.

This awful silhouette is ideal for food placement. These plates are not too big just a different different shape. Excellent porcelain thicker quality so nice. We bought two sets. Highly recommend

I have had an attractive set of stoneware dishes for 4 years, but the small platters began cracking after many trips in the microwave. I ordered a lightweight and inexpensive set of small plates from Amazon, but they did not hand wash well (I don't have a dishwasher). The surfaces always felt greasy; they never felt clean after repeated scrubbings. I finally threw them away. I really needed a salad/dessert type of plate because this is a handy size for a single person. Back to Amazon and this time I saw a set of 6 (more than I needed) for a little more money, but in attractive colors and a really cool shape. That's how I became the owner of these Sweese salad plates and I LOVE them. They love the microwave and take to hand washing well. Now that I know this brand, I will probably end up with a whole set.

Son platos medianos de varios colores combinables muy bonitos. Hacen juego con tazas para café o the que había adquirido antes. Se pueden meter al microondas sin problema. Sirven como plato para entremés o para pastel. Si diseño y sus colores le dan un toque fresco y casual a cualquier mesa. Muy recomendables. Buena compra!

Wunderschöne und hochwertige Dessertteller! Die Farben sind ein Traum - ein echter Hingucker auf dem Esstisch! Die Verpackung war super und die Teller kamen unversehrt bei mir an. Die Lieferung war perfekt (bestellt und am nächsten Tag geliefert). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach mehr als angemessen, da es wirklich schöne und robuste Teller sind. Spülmaschine, Ofen und Mikrowelle kein Problem - ich bin begeistert und absolut verliebt in die Dessertteller von Sweese! Ich kann die Teller nur jedem empfehlen! Übrigens: sie eignen sich auch wunderbar für Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen aufgrund ihrer Größe. Ich neige nämlich leider dazu, mir bei zu großen Tellern zu viel zu nehmen. Die Dessertteller von Sweese haben für mich die perfekte Größe und sind so vielseitig! Anbei einige Bilder zum Größenvergleich / Größenverhältnis und was so alles auf die Teller passt (und natürlich Food Inspo ;-)). Vielen Dank Sweese! :)

Loved these expensive plates & their colours I purchased BUT NOT FIT for PURPOSE as printed on back of plates for a 'microwave' as I have found out, as they loudly CRACK into 2 pieces within a minute in the microwave !!

Mir gefallen diese Sweese Dessert Teller in den verschiedenen Blautönen sehr gut. Es hat eine sehr schöne ovale Form die an den Seiten dann etwas hochgewölbt sind. Sie machen einen qualitativ guten Eindruck. Zum Glück waren die Teller sehr gut verpackt, so daß alles heile angekommen ist. Es wurde direkt einen Tag nach der Bestellung geliefert. Top!!!
