Q: How does this power sequencer work? Does that power switch control the whole power supply system?

Hello ,thanks for your question. When each equipment is connected to sequencer channel, when it is opened or closed, 1-8 channels are opened in sequence every second, and 8-1 channels are closed in sequence every second when it is closed. and that power switch controls the whole power supply system also to prevent current overload.
