This cover looks just like the pic in the product description. It's a stretchy knit fabric with a nice, smooth feel, and went on easily. Just like the commercials, the stretch helps it go on easily and look great without much effort, unlike heavier slipcovers. It IS thin, so if you have a strong pattern on your current couch don't get a light color in this. The trick to making the foam holders work is to tuck them way down, if that isn't enough along the back just use a paint or mop pole.

Overall- very soft and looks great.I purchased this for a 2 seater which is actually pretty small and comfortably only fits one person. (2 if you want to be squeezed together) I ordered the size for a 2 seater and it was very hard to put on as it was way too small. It’s very stretched out and it comes untucked the second you sit on it. I also had to use pins to secure the sides or they come up exposing the original couch color. If you intend to use the couch often you’ll have to readjust this cover nearly every 5 minutes. Order a size bigger and tuck the excess, you’ll be much happier with it! Other than the size it’s absolutely perfect. Comes with a pillow cover which is great. The material is super soft and colors are exactly as pictured.

Update one week later:Ok, so they definitely have grown on me. I added some accent throw pillows on them and it made all the difference. I really like them now. Maybe even love. I have to honestly say I like them better on than off now. I would again follow other's reviews and buy a size bigger. I would go as far as to say buy the biggest available since if it is too big, you can tuck the extra in and have a nice fitted look and probably less likely to come undone. I have noticed here and elsewhere what some of the bad reviews people left with a picture was only their own fault because they weren't tucking correctly. You have to tuck it in people! You have to with all covers, even the expensive ones. I know I have these and an expensive set. Tuck, tuck, tuck and then throw some accent throw pillows on it and you'll love it.--------------------------------------------------I don't know. I'm leaving it a one star as that was my first reaction to these covers, but they have since grown on me.Let me start with that there was nothing wrong with my couches except they were old and I wanted a new look. Otherwise in good condition. These covers are thin....like thinner than a bedsheet, although I can't see my couch under them shockingly (dark brown couches with the bluish grey and leaf pattern cover). But they are thin and certainly the reason why they stretch so well. I did read the reviews and ordered a size bigger and they fit well because of it. However, I was absolutely unhappy with the way they look, not the pattern or color, but the overall quality. They looked like a threw a fitted sheet on them. I have had them on about three or four days now. I did make accent pillows to put on them and it definitely helped make them look better. So they have grown on me and I like them better now. I just don't know if I would recommend them or buy them again. I guess if money is tight or you just don't want to spend $100+ on quality covers (me as I have two young children and two small dogs), then these may be fine for you. I'm just not convinced they look better than without.

It’s a cute print, very thin, soft. It does not fit the couch we bought it for. We measured everything, but it didn’t fit. It’s too sloppy looking with corners hanging out. When someone sits on it, it pulls out from tucking what does tuck in. Did not work for us at all. It said it will fit, but doesn’t.

I wanted something to cover our couch (or should I say the dogs couch) as it gets a lot of abuse from our xl dogs. Since the couch is actually a recliner and not a standard couch, I needed something that would fit the unusual shape, so I love that this conforms to any shape couch. I measured per the instructions and we were just under the requirements for the sofa size by about 2 inches, and I think it fits just perfect. I couldn't tuck under the arm rests, but I didn't really try too hard because it doesn't bother me. I also didn't even tie the stings because the elastic seems to hold it in place just fine. The fabric is super soft! I have had to re-tuck the styrofoam in a few times already, but I suspect that's because my dogs are not gentle on the couches. I only just put it on today, so I can't speak for durability, but I will try to update in a few months if it holds up well to the fur children's abuse.Oh and the pillow cover was a nice surprise! I wasn't expecting that.

We absolutely loved the pattern of the couch cover, and the softness. However, once we got it stretched and put in place it looked great, until we sat on it. As soon as we sat on it, everything popped out from the edges and the whole thing would just look funny. It might be that our couch was just a little too big, but I think overall the design would be difficult to get to keep looking nice anytime after you sit on it. The Styrofoam rollers that they include to help things stay put don't seem to do a great job. Sometimes when we would sit down, they would actually just pop out into our laps. It was disappointing, because we were really excited to dress up our living room with a fancy couch cover. This one simply didn't work for us.

My husband wanted to get slipcovers to cover our couch and oversized chair because we were having a party and with three cats, removal of all the hair is darn near impossible. We got these covers to use on special occasions. They are FANTASTIC! The fabric is soft and stretchy** and they are easy to get onto to the furniture. We did not use the ties as we could not flip the sofa over and besides they didn't seem necessary. We also did not use the included foam pieces to stuff into the cracks. They go on in minutes and come off just as easily. One pillow cover came with each piece. Highly recommended product with this note: **The fabric is SO soft and stretchy, I feel like if used 24/7, at some point the fabric may become overstretched to the point where it looks sloppy. But that is just my opinion.

Edit 2- after 3 years of use the cover got a bit pill-y in the seat area, but was easily resolved with a razor. No other issues or apparent thinning yet. Great results with these.Edit - have been using this daily for a year and a half now and it's held up very well.I was a bit skeptical when I bought this but it turned out really great and really updated the space. The couch was like puke brown before and worn straight through the cushion on both sides. The cover is very easy to put onto the furniture and even fit these oversized pieces easily. Beyond that, it's incredibly soft and comfortable to sit on. The pattern is a bit more blue-tinted than the picture appeared but I like the result. Overall it's a huge improvement over the old couch, despite my brother-in-law saying it looks like the couch has a wedgie. If you have a firm couch, it won't look so lumpy like mine does. The pillows aren't firm, but that's the couch not the cover.

Material is Soft and Very Good

I have both a love seat and an oversized 3 seater. I ordered the 3 seater after reading the reviews knowing it should fit one of the two couches as the measurements line up closer than the descriptions. I can get it on my 3 seater but it is stretched to the max and you can see the pattern through the material. I don’t love how it fits on my love seat, the sides are bunched no matter how much stretching and tucking I do.The fabric is incredibly soft and the pattern and colours are as expected. However the soft fabric means my dog has put a couple small holes in it within the first week. If you have pets you allow on the couch I might consider a more sturdy fabric.The foam that comes with the cover is very tiny, I will be switching to pool noodles as others have suggested (maybe that will help with my bunching problem!)Now, my reason for 4 instead of 5 stars: there is zero shape to this cover, it’s like a giant fitted sheet with corner seams which makes it a tad frustrating to put on. The seams don’t seem to line up anywhere and they to this weird pointy thing on the arms of my couch-I’ll admit this is likely user error and not design- but the instructions don’t explain where these seams are intended to go and no matter where I put them they look a little strange.
