Perfect! Can't go wrong with NGK plugs.
Just what I needed to cure a problem that was keeping me from passing emissions inspection. (Misfire #3 and Misfire #8) I bought these NGK plugs for a fraction of what they would cost at the parts store, and now my problem is solved. NGK is a quality product, they came in two boxes of four individually boxed plugs. Already gapped at .054. Just screw them in. Couldnt be easier. One thing to be aware of though - Per the manufacturers website NGK plugs DO NOT take anti-seize compound on the threads. So don't goop them up with the copper anti-seize as the NGK plugs have specially plated threads and per the manufacturer should NOT have anti-seize applied. Ill buy these from now on very happy.

These were ordered as part of a recent engine tune up for my 2000 F159 Harley Davidson Edition pickup with a 5.4L V8.They arrived in New condition in original packaging. They required minimal gap setting.Shipping was good and priced great.NGK has a solid history of producing quality replacement parts. These exceeded my expectations.

Excellent Plugs for the Ford 4.6 V8
Used these plugs to tune up my 1996 Lincoln Town Car. I had a really bad misfire between the speeds of 35 and 55 mph that would cause the car to jerk. It honestly felt like a slipping transmission. I did some research and found out that this sensation could be caused by a misfire. Before putting these spark plugs in I removed the existing ones and found them to be in really poor condition. After replacing them with these plugs it FIRED right up instantly when I turned the key, unlike before when it was hard to turn over. I instantly noticed that the engine sounded better, revved more smoothly, and idled better. I was so eager to drive it and I instantly noticed a HUGE increase in power and acceleration. My car now hums and feels like a V8 should. I was told that the ford 4.6 was known for getting good gas mileage despite being a large motor. Prior to putting these new spark plugs in the best mileage I got was 17 mpg. I thought it was just because the car is old and has 156k miles. After installing these plugs, I am now getting 22 mpg. Not too bad for a 22 year old V8 tank of a car. Overall, the best part about these plugs is that the misfire is now GONE and my car no longer feels like it has a rough shifting/slipping transmission. If you own a car with the ford 4.6 V8 and have this issue, get these plugs, you will not be disappointed.

Top quality platinum plugs
NGK has long been my first choice In spark plugs for Japanese cars and motorcycles, but I usually stuck with OEM brands for American cars. Recently I needed a tuneup on both my 2004 F-150 and 2001 Explorer Sport. I wanted to keep the budget as low as possible so did a lot of shopping around for best prices. The only plugs I found for a lower price were either unbranded or some Chinese name I’ve never heard of. I may be cheap, but I’m not stupid, so I stuck with a quality brand that I know; NGK. The new plugs, along with a set of BraveX Performance coils (both purchased from Amazon) have restored the throttle response, smoothness and acceleration to my truck. I highly recommend them.
