Master Lock M5XTRILH Magnum Heavy Duty Outdoor Padlock with Key, 3 Pack Keyed-Alike Silver

I think when I ordered these I was looking for some locks for my shed. When they arrived I realized I ordered the equivalent of Ft. Knox's security system. These things are THICK...I am fairly certain that I'd have a better shot tearing my shed door off than trying to get past these. They're octagonal, thick, solid feeling locks. I lost the keys at one point and had to study them to try to figure out how to get them open, and instead I just waited till I found the keys. There was no Dremel cutoff wheel or cutter around that wasn't going to cost more than the shed door would've cost. Super impressive. First thing I'd do...take a photo of the key so you can go to a locksmith and get more made, and then just make sure you never lose them. Never. :)

Work great even in rain and cold weather conditions

Very sturdy and tough locks, however, I was using them to lock a trailer and the tumbler mechanisms do not stand up well to road salt. Eventually, the key would no longer turn in the lock and I had to cut them off and replace them. I’m trying some weatherproofed master locks so we’ll see how it goes. They were hard to cut off, I had to use a cutoff wheel on a grinder.

These locks are heavy duty!!! I can finally feel secure that no one is going to break into my shed and steal my prized shovels, leaky hoses, and my various sized 2x4s I have collected over the years. My shed was so secure that I put these locks on my gates. Nobody is getting through my gates now without the key. I mean they can always jump the fence, but they are not getting through my gates.

Ridiculously hard to get out of packaging but locks are solid and work great to secure Yeti cooler.

First off, this is the most frustrating packaging I’ve ever experienced. You will need a flame thrower or the jaws of life to unpack these locks. I’m almost certain the packaging is more tamper proof than the actual locks themselves. The package only came with 2 of the three keys for the locks.
