Sturdy and Efficient With My Centurylink
I am REALLY pleased with this ethernet cord. It arrived in the mail yesterday, and I wasted no time in hooking it up to my modem and computer. FINALLY--I have no interruptions. While it is true I used my older cords: one that came with the modem and the other, an ethernet cord I purchased at a local office supply business--both cords were ages old. The tiny plastic "holder" on the tips of each cord, broke. As I result, I was fighting with my modem all day with recharging issues. I got the five foot length on this cord, and it is perfect. My modem is beside me, and I hold my computer on my lap while working in my easy chair. 5 feet is a perfect length. Another feature I like is that the cord is flat. There will be no more twisting and tangling with the cord. And the tips are protected. Should I travel with my computer, this cord came with protective caps on each end, preventing the "securing" pieces on the ends from breaking, snapping or laying flat. That's what happened with my old cords. So I am pleased--extremely pleased because I was about to throw my computer--cord and all through the front window! Now I can sit in my chair peacefully and not be fighting with the ethernet cord.

Does the trick. But be aware ..
Does what it supposed to do. I have 1.2Gbps speed tier but I think my computer processor is capping out at this 950Mbps. Flexible & sleek. Be aware, It was fluctuating at first and would not get past 500Mbps before cycling plugging the cable in & out. My Xfinity provided CAT5e cable never had this issue. Only time will tell.

Cat 7 cable for gaming. Needed alot so went with a durable one. Glad to see there are good flat cables out there! And the fasteners are extremely handy.
