These The Lord of the Rings themed bookends are so pleasing to me that I not only bought one set for myself, but also one set just a few days later for a cousin of mine as a Christmas gift.Don't let the sort of small size of these bookends turn you away from purchasing them. They are hefty for their size, and they have four rubber footings underneath each of them to help prevent them from moving when in place holding books.As far as the metal TLOTR characters' silhouettes that are a part of them, they look really great! It appears that these bookends maybe were cut out with a laser for a good deal of exactness. Each bookend is one solid piece. The wording "Not all those who wander are lost" looks great too, but it will take some backlighting if you want to read the words well.Or, you can do as I did by following the advice of another reviewer and cut out a formed shape from white notecards and tape them to the back of the wording to utilize the white of the notecard to see the words better. Whoever it was that thought of that, it is a helpful idea. (Thanks!) In the location I have the bookends, it would be hard to make out the wording without the white of the notecards.These are quality, hefty for their size bookends, and I would recommend them to any The Lord of the Rings fan!

Fantastic book ends we are not using as book ends haha 😅 need more shelf’s but they are super cool and very well built.

These bookends look and feel just how you would want them to be.Heavy enough to hold all your books.One thing to be aware of: they are black. So, if you plan to put them in a somewhat dark bookcase, the effect of the open lettering and the Tolkien-figures don't show as much as you would want. If your background is light, then they are absolutely gorgeous!!!

It was a gift for a friend and he loved it. It looks very good on display. The size is pretty decent.

Bought the "Wandering" bookends, and they are fantastic on many levels. First they stopped my daughter's terrible affliction: every time she had looked at her school books her stomach would hurt, and she'd break down in frustration. Now she looks at the same books with disgust but also a little smile from the wonderful craftsmanship of her bookends. She also now feels very safe if an ogre or troll were to ever break in because she knows the weight of one of those bookends would knock it unconscious! Highly recommend!!

Perfect for my Tolkien collection. Heavyweight metal keeps books upright with no sliding. Great design and paint is not chipping. Giving 4 stars because the left bookend is not a 90° angle as it should be. If I want it flush with the books then the base isn’t sitting completely flat. If the base is completely flat the bookend doesn’t line up properly with the book. Will keep them because I like the look, but I was disappointed by the defect. I worry that bending the metal myself will cause an issue with the paint so I will just leave as-is.

Its beautifully made, the silhouettes are sharp and defined. The metal is heavy and doesn't slip on any surface I've placed it.Its a bit on the smaller side- see Sanderson's THAT mass market paperbacks for reference) but I'm very, very pleased.The product also arrived earlier than I expected, and was well packaged; a completely hassle free delivery.

I love this. As stated in other reviews, the bookends are smaller than anticipated. But it is heavy and well made and how can any Tolkien fan pass this up? I gushed about it so much that a colleage ordered for her husband too.
