Perfect bottles
I bought these after my sister used them for her kids. We’ve had no issues with colic etc. and baby managed bottle fine from the first use. I like that they’re one size so you can still use the same bottles as they grow. Bit fidgety to put them together at first with the tongs but you soon get the hang of it. Easy to sterilise and I watched a couple of videos to make sure I was positioning everything correctly in the steriliser. They can leak when travelling with just the flat disk which is annoying. I did consider buying the travel caps separately but I’m now in the habit of keeping the changing bag or insulated bottle pouch upright at all times when we’re out of the house and it’s been fine since then, as we did have quite a few big leaks at the start.People often ask what the green tube is and are impressed when I tell them. Friends of ours were considering swapping to Dr Browns after seeing us with them and hearing that they were good. Shame you can’t get them in the big UK high street retailers and supermarkets like you can with other brands.

Excellent bottles
Absolutely amazing!! My baby loves these bottles. Before Doc Brown, We were always so worried about how our bubba was so gassy and spat up all the time, he was constipated and he grunted a lot because he was uncomfortable. I must have called the health visitor three times about this, wondering if he had a milk intolerance or reflux. On my third call to the health visitor, I was recommended Dr Brown’s, and that same day I went out and bought two. There was an instant change - he was drinking slower because the hole in the nipple is small, he stopped being gassy, the grunting reduced, the spitting up reduced and so did the constipation. In fact, since he wasn’t gulping down his milk and had time for his belly to process how much he needed, he actually started to drink less. We realised that he didn’t need so much milk, and gradually he moved up to more milk when he was ready, rather than when the milk carton said he should be ready. And don’t be fooled by the “anti colic” label. Not all babies have colic. My baby was labelled as having colic but it was not colic causing him so much discomfort, it was the other bottles feeding him too quickly (because they had bigger holes) and also letting in air. doctors and midwives don’t even really know what colic is. Like with any grown adult human being, if you eat too much, you’ll feel uncomfortable and probably gassy as a result. The dr browns are slow flow and they prevent extra air going into your baby. I genuinely don’t think my baby had colic. What I mean is that the bottle is labelled as an anti colic but it basically feeds your baby with the common sense principle of not giving them too much in one go and stopping extra air being ingested. We had tried Tommy tippee, Nuk and Boots’ own brand bottles, and after spending at least £100 on bottles (plus all the other Tommy tippee accessories for bottles, eg the insulated bottle bags, travel warmer etc) we settled on Dr Brown.Every baby is different so it’s not possible to know if a baby will like one bottle over another. I did of course see many reviews from parents when I bought the Tommy tippee, nuk and boots bottles, but really, it’s all about how your baby feels . Same goes for other baby products such as bouncers and slings. I’d recommend try one or two first, and only if you think your baby is fine with them, then buy more. Don’t do what I did and buy 15 Tommy tippee bottles just because they were cheap and I also didn’t really think there was anything wrong with them, except when I tried dr brown and saw the difference it made to my baby. And these bottles don’t leak if the temperature of the water is moderate. I use a perfect prep machine, and the water is not hot, so I get no leaks. But one time I had to make a feed by using boiled water - the milk leaked. So with these bottles you need to do as directed in the formula container, which is to let the water cool.

Best bottles I’ve used
These are durable and great quality. No cracks or leaks and they clean so easily and hold no smell. The writing on sides hasn’t faded at all in nine months.Decreased colic and irritation instantly when I switched to these and I never looked back.

Superb bottles for uncomfortable tummies
These really help with the reflux and uncomfortable times. We are at 9 months and still using T1, tried T3 but to fast of a flow. Great bottles though. If I had any negative it would be they are big and takes a while for baby to hold.

Great bottle but leaks
Lovely bottleBut due to regular use it does tend to leak a littleThere are also quite a few parts to it, which I didn’t really think about when ordering so cleaning them can get a little tedious

The best bottle for your baby
Started to use for my second baby and still love it. Easy to clean and you can take the anti colic part out once they’re older as well. The best quality bottle for your child.
