Fisher Space Pen INFINIUM Black Titanium Nitride Finish, Blue Ink (INFB-1)

Good pen. A little overpriced, maybe, but on the plus side, it always works, and that's something you only appreciate after you go to an important meeting carrying that nice pen that nevertheless stubbornly refuses to write. AND it has blue ink, so you'll never have to feel you're on the same side with the hordes of barbarians who write in black.My one complaint is that it's impossible to know how much ink is left, but since it's supposed to last for rest of the original owner's life, maybe that's a good thing. Nobody wants to know when their time is up.-----------I'd been having a problem with the pen - from time to time it will let a big ugly blob of ink on the page; especially the first time i use it that day. I contacted the manufacturer. They confirmed that a machine defect caused a number of these pens to be shipped with damaged balls, causing gobbing. I mailed them the pen and they promptly shipped back a replacement, which doesn't have the problem.

I use every day at work at it has an ink explosion other then that it is a great color and super smooth writing

I love the Space Pen and this is my third model, after the bullet and the AG7. Ink that lasts a lifetime fascinated me a lot and I couldn't resist buying this pen. It is very beautiful, it is very well balanced and comfortable when writing, while quite small to carry around. If I have to find a flaw it is the absence of an O-ring as for the bullet, which keeps the lid tight over time. Either way, I'm afraid I'll buy another ink color.

Fisher's strength is the ink cartridge. But pen-wise, I think Mont Blanc makes better pens. The clip on Fisher pens is weak.. I clipped this to the pocket of my travel vest and turned it upside down and jiggled it. This pen failed the test by falling out of my pocket. I had bought it with the intention of using it as a travel pen but because of this failure it will stay on my desk. I don't think the case of this pen was worth the money. It is nice and light, but the design could be more attractive.

The media could not be loaded. Hi. I work as a doctor, and from time to time I need to fill out medical records. I bought this pen when I read that it can be used for a very long time. However, she stopped writing 3 years after the purchase. I am very upset since the manufacturer wrote that it can last a very long time. In my opinion, the price of this pen is very high, and for this money I could buy a significant number of other pens.Therefore, I am very dissatisfied with this purchase, and do not recommend buying it.

Full Disclosure- I am a pen addict and Fisher Space pens is a fix I know all too well. The quality is there in the manufacturing and the writing experience. One of the main reasons I love Fisher is because they're easy and predictable. Easy is in life is difficult enough without fighting with a pen to get it to write and predictable as in it ALWAYS writes and not only that but it's smoooooth. I love my fountain pens but I don't love them because they are easy and predictable- I love them because they are a thing of beauty and as we all know beauty is only skin deep. Fisher may not be beautiful but they aren't ugly and what they may lack in sophistication and aesthetics they make up for in predictable reliability.

This is a replacement item for a similar pen that was lost during airport security check-in/security procedures...... must've dropped...I missed this pen and its sleek finish and writing. Highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys writing with a pen....

Nice pen, compact. Like all space pens, writes upside down and over grease. Well made, lightweight, I keep this in my briefcase as a backup pen. It's a bit on the pricey side, yes.
