Because this is hollow it is not sturdy. I thought wrought iron was solid but I guess I was wrong. Putting this together was not difficult but one section did not fit together correctly because it is flimsy. However, I think it will work when my clematis grows and this is used as a support. Of course it was rather inexpensive so I should not have expected better quality. And, when it is all put together it does not line up as in the photo.

Don't waste your money. Very poor quality. Impossible to put together. Horrible purchase

This is the cheapest material ever ! The holes don’t line up, the workmanship is shoddy. When you FINALLY get it together the legs are crooked and horrible looking. One of the rings looks warped. Horrible !!

We were disappointed with this obelisk when it arrived. The metal is super light weight and it was a challenge assembling it too. Unless a plant or vine were really light weight, this obelisk might not be able to hold it up....especially with winds blowing. Think twice before you bother with it..

Hollow, light weight, needs to be assembled upon arrival. One of the stakes wasn't right and therefor the entire thing couldn't be assembled.

Maybe the price should have tipped me off, but I’m still very disappointed with this product. Made from cheap, thin metal tubing, not wrought iron. Wasn’t that easy to put together, either. I’m going to use it, but it’s definitely not the centerpiece I anticipated.

I love the look and the idea of it but heres my problem. When i received it, 2 pieces were slightly bent. The holes where the pieces connect had to be redrilled on 1 piece because it didnt match up with the other pieces. Not as sturdy as i was hoping.If i didnt have to fix it before putting it all together it would have received better stars.

This trellis is exactly what I was looking for. It’s very lite and portable. It was easy to put together. No problems. Love it!

It took me two hours to assemble one of these. The verticle shafts were easy enough, but the circular ones were a struggle. The way the cirulcar bits were designed was poor. They are made up of four parts, each with a male/female end. None of the ends were circular, and each had to be coaxed into shape.The final joint was always a problem. These I really struggled with. I've got a blister on my finger from pressing so hard. I'm a big bloke, 6'2", and proportionate build. I nearly gave up a couple of times. The tubes are of flimsy metal and are easy to distort. One time I put a crease in a bit. I bought two of these so had to do it twice.I assume you get why I said in the title that these are not precision items.

Took a bit of push and shove to get all the pieces assembled, but locked together well when done and will be exactly the right size for the new climbing rose! Good value, too.

Was advertised as wrought iron when in fact is is made from thin tubing.

Arrived quickly and was packed ok, no dents in it however 2 sections already had rust on them (see pictures).Managed to put it to together without much difficulty, some sections were a bit tricky but once assembled it was reasonably sturdy.

I didn't realise this would require self assembly but it wasn't too difficult, Very pleased with it now it's in place.
