Philips Fabric Shaver, Removes Fabric Pills, Suitable for All Garments, Large Blade Surface, Cleaning Brush, Includes Batteries, Blue (GC026/00)

I had an old fabric shaver that I previously used to de-pill fabric. It quit working a few years ago and I have been looking for a replacement. I saw a Consumer Reports review comparing several fabric shavers. The Philips Fabric Shaver was one of them. It wasn't CR's #1 choice, but they rated it almost as high and it cost less than 1/4 of the price. I purchased this model and was very happy with my decision. The fabric shaver does a very good job by removing pills easily. The shaving surface is large enough to complete the de-pilling task quickly. It holds a lot of removed material, and it is easy to clean. It takes 2 AA batteries. It is nicely designed but I needed to read the instructions to be aware of how to reach the different parts of the equipment. I'm very happy with this small but useful machine.

Pretty easy to use and doesn't take long to clean off fabric pills from the surface. Definitely recommend for a quick job to get done.

This Philips Fabric Shaver works really well. It removes a lot of fuzz and lint quickly and makes fabrics look new again. It’s very easy to use and comfortable to handle. I liked it so much that I purchased two — one for home and one for the office. Highly recommend.

I was delighted how well it works and made my sweater look refreshed! The collecting compartment is a bit small and I had to empty multiple times while working on an old sweater. It does make a chemical smell when it is running. Overall I was happy with purchase because my old sweater looked so much better afterward.

Great little tool, made a bunch of my clothes lot brand new! It can be a bit time consuming but it's really enjoyable I do it while I'm watching TV or listening to an audiobook. It's recommend buying rechargeable batteries for it though so you don't go through a ton of AA batteries.

10 stars OMG. I had several sweaters that were beyond hope with pilling. Two of them in particular were some of my favorites so I tried this item on them and the difference is unbelievable. Took a little bit of time, but it is amazing. These were expensive sweaters, but I had nothing to lose and this did a fantastic job. see Photos for before and after. note that I also tried one of the cheaper little comb things, and all it did was create more fuzz, but this was able to correct that as well. also, I had no idea what I was doing. I just rubbed it in circles and up and down. Anyone can do it.

It's a little hard to see in the photo, but the more in focus, closer side is where I've used it and the far is without. It looks new where I used the shaver and worn where I didn't. I just got it today and couldn't wait to use it. So satisfying to use and watch the item transform. I love it!
