This book might stir up some unexpected feelings in you—which might be a good thing.
Marie's energy is infectious and contagious. I derive a tremendous amount of inspiration from watching people walk the walk and from those who take on increasing challenges for their own lives. Marie lives this to the fullest, and walks the walk—she has, over the past decade and beyond, systematically brought rigor, play, and drive to her work in business and marketing, and continues to level up in everything that she does. She may not even know how many lives she touches because of what she has built. For me personally, I had a fascinating emotional journey and reaction while reading the book. I was hooked in the beginning and had a "hell yeah!" response. Like, YEAH, I can DO THIS. Then, for some reason I started to get angry in the middle—I don't know why; perhaps it's because I was starting to feel overwhelmed by how much work there is to do and how freaking hard it can be to overcome some of life's obstacles. There's something overwhelming, too, about reading so many journeys of success and feeling internally like "Well, shit, I don't have it figured out yet—look how many people have done so much with so little, so who the heck am I?"I think this is totally normal, to be honest, and I see that some of the other reviewers have experienced this as well. At the end of the day, making work in the world can be HARD, and full of doubts. So I put the book down for a few days—it had been a series of late nights with sick kids and slamming my head against a wall trying to figure out my latest business offering all the while working on a never-ending book proposal that's challenging me deeply on a regular basis—basically I wanted to chuck this book across the room.Figuring out what to do next is the work of a lifetime. And it can be excruciating, it can be hard, and it can be devastating, and it can be lonely.I found my way back to the book and kept reading bit by bit. I found reading a few pages a day was best—I read from 8pm-8:15pm, until I could barely keep my eyes open and fell asleep with the ideas. Consuming it this way was best; each idea or nugget filtered into my subconscious. Too much felt overwhelming, and I'm an ambitious lady. The thing is, adopting a belief like this might be easy for some people. And it might be really REALLY hard for other people. It's hard to take full ownership of your next steps in life, ESPECIALLY when you've been dealt a shit sandwich for cards. By the end of reading it, my husband asked me what I thought of the book and I said "You know, I really dig it. I needed this book in my life right now." I'm glad I bought it.WHO THIS BOOK IS FOR: Read this if you want to uplevel your belief systems and challenge yourself to grow. You must be willing to do some inner work and stay in the game when shit gets uncomfortable. Read it serially (bit by bit) if it gets overwhelming. If negative thoughts come up while reading, journal them and write them down: you might learn something new about yourself.WHO IT IS NOT FOR: If you're looking for an easy answer or a step-by-step solution, this isn't the book. This is about a bigger philosophical, mental, mindset shift and it takes guts. Sometimes adopting a new mindset can be like turning on a light switch. Other times it feels like re-doing the electrical wiring in your house, and can take longer to do. Both versions are worth it.I'd also say that this book might not be for you if you're really at the bottom of the barrel. It can be infuriating to hear that everything is figureoutable when you're getting knocked down by a bunch of waves—nothing feels great about having someone on the beach shout at you to keep going when you're getting slammed around in your first surf lesson. If your heart is broken or you're recovering from loss, or you're in a place where psychotherapy or deeper support is what's needed, I'd look first to books like Michael Singer's "Untethered Soul," Pema Chodron's "When Things Fall Apart," Parker Palmer's "Let Your Life Speak" or Viktor Frankl's "Man's Search For Meaning." Let yourself experience and process your heartbreak and hurt. Then, when you've found your way back to a more stable heart and a mind ready to grab onto the change you CAN make, and the things you CAN control, and you want a combination of ass-kicking to propel you in your leadership journey, check out this book. You need to find the right messenger for you. Sometimes we can't hear something until Judge Judy tells us (or, as Marie says in the book, it might take a new friend to say something other people have been telling you all along.) Marie's style is a match for my kind of business brain, and she's been a huge help in my journey, even though I don't think I've ever told her this yet. This book might stir up some feelings in you. That might be a good thing.

Common Sense Meets Can-Do Attitude!
Marie has a way of bringing the most sensible truths to light in this book. I had somehow lost my can-do, positive attitude somewhere along my life journey and she is helping me dig it up and dust it off! Good as new! THANK YOU MARIE! This book sparked a BIG change in my life!
Have you ever read a book that made you feel like it was written just for you to read at that specific moment in time? This book was that for me.I've been a fan of Marie’s for years now, so much so that I've recommended her work on my blog (WithCheryl.co) more than 10 times now. When I heard she had a new book coming out, I was SO excited and I knew I would likely love it, BUT what I didn’t expect was the shift it made in my life. You see, Everything is Figureoutable focuses around the idea that (as the title suggests) every problem can be solved … no matter what. And, right from the get-go, she calls the reader out on making excuses that this isn’t the case for their specific situation, which is one of the many things I loved about this book. While she is inspiring and encouraging throughout, she also (and sometimes more importantly) calls you out on your BS, doesn’t let you hide behind your excuses, and reminds you that there is only ONE thing that can truly get in your way … YOU.Marie helps you shift your mindset, thoughts, and beliefs from working against you to working for you, she teaches you how to embrace fear not run away from it, and (what wound up being the most impactful for me) she helps you define your dream and start on the path to actually achieve it.Now, I think I should explain that I didn’t go into this book expecting to set a NEW dream for myself, but by the end of this book, that’s exactly what happened. And, I think that shows you just how powerful Everything Is Figureaboutable is, as both a book and a philosophy. I mean, she helped me discover a dream I didn’t even know I had! How amazing is that?!It’s too early to share what exactly this book sparked for me because I’m taking things just one small step at a time, just like Marie told me too, BUT I will say this … Everything Is Figureoutable will be the reason for a big shift in my what my business, With Cheryl, offers sometime in 2020.In the meantime, I highly encourage you to pick up a copy of Everything Is Figureoutable for yourself now. And, as you work through the book, you MUST do all of of the exercises at the end of each chapter. I cannot encourage this enough. It might seem like a lot of work (and it is), but the work is necessary for you to get the most out of this book. Don’t cheat yourself. DO THE WORK.I’ll leave you with this … by the time I finished reading the last page of this book, I can honestly say my mindset has shifted about problems that come my way. I really do, deep down in my bones, believe that everything is figureoutable now—and because of that, I feel like I’m capable of so much more. AND, I know each of you are too.

This is the single most important book you’ll ever read
I’m reading this book for the second time now. I pick it up when I need a boost. I think about it when I’m mapping out my life and chasing my (many) dreams. I always wonder how I got by in life without Marie Forleo.Don’t hesitate to buy this book, just do it. You will not regret it. I’ve read countless self help books in my life, since I was about 12 and read my first Tony Robbins book. It was one of few things that made a massive positive impression in my young life. This book sticks out in my top 3 of all time.Thank you Marie for never giving up on your dreams so that I and many others can benefit from your unique special gift of inspiration. Excuse me, I have to finish reading this chapter.

A Game Changing and Inspirational Read...FINALLY!
THIS IS THE BOOK I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR! Marie takes you above and beyond self-help to self-realisation. If you’re wanting to get motivated and work towards a better, more inspired and mobilised you, this is THE book. Marie tells it like it is, she is honest, funny, passionate but most of all real. Her advice is practical and actionable - this is a HOW TO book, which ultimately focussed on the most important aspect of ourselves - our attitude. Already the Everything is Figureoutable belief has made a difference in my life - it has brought relief, freedom and inspired my ‘can do’ approach to life. Progress not perfection is also my new mantra! Thank you Marie - your work and this book is really life changing! 🙏🏻

Love Marie, her energy, her wisdom & this book!
I've been following Marie for quite some time and really love her raw honesty, contagious enthusiasm, boundless energy coupled with sound, no-nonsense advice. And this book is no different! In it, Marie guides the reader to fully absorb the belief/truth that 'everything is figureoutable' and given that beliefs are the (often hidden) scripts that run our lives, having such an empowering one firmly ensconced can really help our lives take off. With down-to-earth teaching, real-life examples (from her and from people in different circumstances) and most importantly "Insight to action" exercises/challenges for the reader, she also helps us blast excuses and fears, define what we really want and install a number of super-powerful beliefs/mantras/life models such as Start before you are ready; Progress not perfection; Refuse to be refused and The world needs your gift. When I bought the book Marie also offered a free 5-day online course with lots of further actionable stuff - she really over-delivers :)

a beautiful reminder of using tenacity
A lovely read with plenty of real life examples of people who’ve faced awful scenarios in their lives. Awful circumstances that would have floored even the most hardiest of individual without using Maria’s principles. I definitely recommend reading this and will be passing it on to my friends
