Good Value
It's not the sturdiest CD Rack you could ever find, but it looks great, and is easy to assemble. I appreciate the double-sized spots on the rack for my old double CD cases, before they started making them the same size as a normal jewel case with double-sided CD holder on the inside. Great for anyone who collects physical media.

Excellent Medium Capacity CD/SACD Storage
This is a superb CD rack for the space conscious music lover who wants to highlight their CD/SACD collection (or a portion thereof, for those with larger libraries) in a clean, aesthetic manner. The well constructed rack arrives as four pieces (2 base halves plus two rack halves) plus instruction sheet in a 26" x 6 1/2" x 6 1/4" shipping box. Styrofoam and cardboard inserts provide reasonable internal protection during transit, as long as shipping incurs no serious damage to the box sides.Assembly is simple, requires no tools, and consists of plugging the two rack halves together (the lower half's socket ends accept the upper half's rod ends) and to the optional base. Alternatively, you can omit the base and wall mount the rack using the supplied screws and drywall anchors.I really like this tower's minimal, modern, matte black look, as it allows you to store your discs in full view while not detracting from the room's other more interesting design attributes.I used the base and placed the unit directly on a hardwood floor, a configuration that provides reasonable stability as long as neither children nor pets test its limits! All in all, I highly recommend this product and am similarly pleased with Amazon's pricing and delivery.

A really useful CD tower that holds up to 80 CDs, but a couple of caveats!
Overall, this storage tower that holds up to 80 CDs is quite useful and looks appealing, along with my other living room decor. Assembly of the really tall unit is quite easy once out of its box, too. Another benefit is it possesses about 6 slots for double CD jewel cases, which I positioned at the base of the tower. However, one caveat would be its tendency to tip easily when placed on carpeting, even with its somewhat supportive base structure. Meanwhile, if placed on a solid floor, most of that drawback would be eliminated, though. Another disadvantage is the top slot has a compressed design, so I found it nearly impossible to fit a single CD in the tower without practically tipping it over! Consequently, I leave the upper space open. Aside from those minor deficiencies, this type of CD storage is handy and displays my frequently played music compact discs attractively. Recommend this storage unit to other music collectors, with a few reservations!

Just What I Needed
I have way more CD's than I thought. I bought this to hold them. I didn't want to take up too much space in my room. I put this diagonally in a corner. It is out of the way and looks good. I rated it 4 stars for sturdiness because I think it could topple over if jostled. But, where it is placed, I think it will be fine.

Holds a lot, and recommended except for one thing
This is a heavy-duty product that has no trouble holding the advertised number of CDs. I have a fairly large collection of CDs, and I have filled up one 80-disk tower, so I ordered another one. This one works well and holds the CD securely. My only complaint is that one cannot push the tower back against the wall, and have the titles face directly outward. If you push the tower back against the wall, as I do, means the titles now face in an awkward angle.I suppose one cannot expect perfection, but I do wish the product could be redesigned so it could be right against the wall, and still display the titles straight out.

Yes, we still have music CDs
My husband refuses to get rid of his music CDs. Therefore, I purchased this so he could store them. I like the price and it is stable. It is very easy to put together.

Cannot be assembled
After chopping open the box, because it was glued shut...I pulled out the parts. Assembly looked simple, however I could not put this together. It is welded metal, so it will not bend. You have to attach parts by putting 4 metal rods into 4 hollow tubes. However, none of the rods or tubes lined up. I measured them and it was 5 1/2 inches between two of the rods but it was only 5 inches between the hollow tubes...so impossible to put together, that was the 2 piece tower. The base was the same. You had to put the tower into the base slots and not of them fit...you could get two in, but not the other two and again I measured and the parts didn't fit. Now I have a torn up box and a piece of metal junk on my floor.

Exactly what I expected
Installed to the left of my bedroom television and installed the DVD holder I purchased to the right.
