Kontrol Freek Thumb Stick Addon UltraX 360 Black (Xbox 360)

I love KF. If you browse in the controller add on department, they're are a lot of choices. Most of them are really bad and have no real use or improvement value. These are and continue to be the most useful tool to improve your game.This particular model, UltraX is a convex version of their OG Ultra one. Same height, except of dipping in they dip out. This gives your thumb that little extra push it needs to be extremely accurate when playing games. FPS games benefit the most and after a a couple hours you won't be able to play without them. Kudos for the plain black too. Some of their other versions are good but come god awful colors.Pros:Simple. Just pop them on your right or left thumb stick and you're good to goEffective. Everything moves much better and easier. You don't jerk too hard to the left or right up down on higher sensitivities.Good value. Granted it's just plastic but they work and it's so hard to find things that SIMPLY work nowadays.Cons:Being super critical here, they're are most useful for FPS or shooter games. I play with them on for all games though.

These products do help your aim but it's not going to make it perfect. Practice makes perfect but they do seem to help. The only issue I have is they sometimes pop off and for some reason the fit doesn't seem to be as tight as I would like it to be.

Not what I expected they were to tall and they ruined the joystick to get it on to the joystick you have to force it and it breaks of the soft coating that comes on the joystick now I have a product that doesn't work and another ruined joystick

When I first got these, I didn't even know if they would fit the dual shock 4 controller. I'm happy to say they do, they clip on and are tight, and they lesson hand fatigue after long play sessions. Not only that, they make precise movements a snap in any game you play. They extend the height of your thumbs, making them rest easily upon them. Reducing fatigue, especially if you have larger hands. They make you wish Sony had heightened the sticks themselves, they are that comfortable. The extenders are covered in the same rubber that the dual shock 4 sticks are, making them slip free. They also have little divots in the top of them that feel very comfortable underneath the thumbs, giving you even more traction.Do not think twice about purchasing these. They are a godsend to any game player, professional or not.

If you play any sort of online FPS game, (Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo, etc.) this product is a must have. You will see an improvement almost immediately once you adjust (takes a round or so of online play) to the way the controller now works. Long distance shots are no longer a huge problem. You don't find yourself overcompensating when you are trying to nail that sniper in the distance and completely missing. Close-quarter (the guy runs right past you and turns around) encounters are the only problem you really have to learn to adjust to especially if you play on high or very high sensitivity. All in all, this is an excellent product that gives you better precision over the stock controller. I highly recommend it to anyone trying to get better control over their accuracy.*Update*I've only tried this on Xbox 360 and can't say how well it works for PS3 yet. It snaps on easily and has stayed on for my Xbox 360 controller. I will try this for the PS3 as well and update with the performance in game and reliability of it staying on the controller. I would like to add that you really only need one of these for two controllers. Only the right analog stick actually utilizes this product because it's the only stick needed to hone in on your target. I do not recommend using it on both analog sticks as it really does nothing to increase perfomance and accuracy and is a waste of money.

I love this product. But I bought for both PS4 and PS3.It Fits both controllers, but on the PS3, it leaves some marks, mainly because the fitting is too tight. On one controller it really dented a little bit. It is not a problem for me because I'll not remove them, but PS3 users should beware.

Ordered these after owning the standard concave KontrolFreek FPS sticks for about 2 years now. Absolutely love these. Used them on both thumbsticks on my Scuf Gaming controller for about 5 matches and found that my left thumb started to get cramped, however my right thumb felt fine after about 20 matches. I will continue to use one of these on the right thumbstick and one concave FPS Ultra on the left thumbstick. I did notice a slight increase in sensitivity due to the slight increase in height compared to the concave model. This is exactly what I was looking for. I play COD: Ghosts exclusively and it has definitely helped my gaming abilities. It is much easier to turn on other players, especially when I play at 19 sensitivity. I know I will be going to 20 sensitivity very soon, upon getting these I had to go down a few notches to get accustomed to the sensitivity.All in all, great product. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new edge over their opponents.PS - I do use these for every game I play as well, even racing games.
