Cool Laptop
Excellent product. I should have bought one much earlier. My laptop batteries never get hot or even warm when this device is connected to it. I use it all the time now. Great to use with the laptop on your knees when watching TV, no more heat on my legs. Great angle as well, very pleased with this product.

Highly recommended
Does an excellent job. My laptop works hard every day and this mat sits quietly underneath it keeping everything cooler. If you try hard you can hear it whirring but it's a fan, it has to whirr to work but it is in no way intrusive. Highly recommended

Great at reducing laptop temperatures
I found that my laptop was starting to overheat especially when using certain meeting software for prolonged periods. This product has really helped both lift the laptop to a more comfortable viewing height as well as reduce the overall temperature of the device by improving airflow. It is a little noisy when plugged in via usb socket but it also works quite well without being powered.

A decent laptop tray
Well built with sturdy plastic, not overly noisy and does help with cooling but not too noticeably. It's fairly comfortable but the ergonomics need a bit of refining. For instance, the laptop sits on little rubber feet on top of the tray but it isn't secured against movement, accidental or otherwise. A lip or something at the base would help in case the laptop slips towards you but if you stay still or put it on a level surface it's fine.

Good at price point with a few issues
This is a cheap laptop stand with a basic fan. It functions well to raise your laptop off the worksurface, to prevent contact of a warm/hot device with your lap, and always to provide additional air underneath the device, even when the fan isn't plugged in.If noise and heat are your concerns with your laptop however, this won't solve the noise problems. The fan is not super quiet. It's by no means loud, but it's easily as noticeable as a laptop fan, if not more.My product also arrived with cracks in the stand surface mesh, which I suspect may worsen with time. Fixable with glue, but a shame to receive a slightly damaged product.

Keeps my legs cool
As I have a one or other laptop on my knee for a lot of the day (both work and personal use) I needed something to keep my legs cool. I was previously using a plain wooden board about the size of the laptop base. It helped, especially as it made sure the laptop fans were not blocked by clothing, but could still get very warm on my legs. I had looked several times for an alternative but the cushion sort still transmit heat to the legs, and I don't have space for a the mini table sort (and also thought they might be too high for comfortable typing for long hours. This is about the width of my 15.6" laptop and a little deeper and so fits perfectly. I don't want/need space for a mouse as I use that on the arm of the chair). I think a 17" laptop would over hang the sides. Even without the fans on it keeps my legs nice and cool as air can flow easily under the laptop. When I've heard my laptop fans spin up faster I've tried plugging in the fans on this and they are quieter than the laptop at that point. I wasn't even sure they were running the first time I tried. When they are running I actually start feeling a slight chill in my hands above the keyboard as the air movement increases. I'm yet to try on a day with several meetings, but I feel confident it will still keep my legs cool.I don't think this would help much if you have a laptop which is struggling to stay within it's correct working temp range. Better to make sure it's own fans are operating correctly and are not clogged with dust. However it's perfect for making the laptop comfortable to use on your lap.The USB cable to plug it in can come out either side to match your laptop USB ports and there is a clip on both side to hold it when not in use. I dislike messy cables about, but this tucks away nicely. All in all, I'm very pleased with this and it's the best solution for the way I use my laptop.

Does the job well
Not super quiet but no worse than laptop that needs it in the first place. Solid, decent quality. Does what it claims 👍

It works, but not worth the price
It's ok for what it is. The fan is reasonably quiet, and it works but it's not worth £30. It's design feels cheap and every time I pick it up or move it, it bends. My son has a much cheaper one that cost £15 and is thick plastic and his is sturdy and doesn't bend at all. But unfortunately it doesn't fit my size laptop. It did help cool my laptop though so it does the job it's meant to but I doubt it's going to last very long honestly. I'd say give it 6 months or less before it cracks.
