Yummy!
Has been wanting to try this - and very happy that we ordered this. While we used it on pizza, it would be a great addition to a charcuterie board. Will definitely purchase again. Taste was amazing. Not overly spicy, but had some kick to it.

I write this review as an individual born and raised in the Mediterranean and now finding himself in the US as an adult migrant. I routinely work in Italy as part of my research and I have grown accustomed to finding Nduja at cheap prices with wonderful flavor. Over these past months, I have searched for a US based seller since this country refuses us the right to bring back pork products. While I admittedly find the price to be high (remember I am accustomed to purchasing this in my local supermarket with no problem), I think this US-made product parallels the Italian original. You get two packages of deliciously hot Nduja that can make countless pasta dishes and numerous impulsive snacks. I'd say that aside from the casing used (the original Nduja is stored in stomachs) and the price, you get about 1 pound of a great product. The flavor is right and these guys seem to be the only worthwhile makers of a wonderful Calabrian culinary heritage. I'm satisfied overall.

Wow this was weird - tasty, but naughty
It's like a liquid salami you can put on a cracker. I know all the cool chefs are cooking with it now, because you have to one up everyone else, but let's be honest- liquid salami is one step away from diarrhea. There, I said it, because it's true. Four stars though because what a weird experience that was.

I liked nduja egg toast by pasta grammar
The taste grows on you, so give it a try multiple times. I can't quite describe the taste of this product. my mom thinks it tastes like spicy salami. I don't. It has a nutty or earthy taste to me. I like it, but it was very different than what I was expecting which was more of a salami taste. I like it, but it probably isn't for everyone. The quality of the product was good. Do a search for Nduja egg toast by pasta grammar for a great recipe that I really enjoyed for frying an egg in nduja instead of butter. Really enhanced the flavor of the nduja.

Smaller Than Advertised
The description said a six ounce package of Nduja. The plastic package indicated 4.5 oz. with an added paper sticker that said 6 oz. My kitchen scale weighed the product at 4.5 oz. and my recipe required 6 oz. Enough said.

Delicioius, smoky, spreadable sausage
A very good sausage. Comes wrapped in plastic as shown, and is easy to spread cold, though letting it set at room temperature for a whiles improves it's spreadability. The sausage itself has a nice, smoky, spicy flavor. I use it on pizza, spread with the tomato sauce, but have also used it on pastas and sandwiches. Only one or two ounces of the sausage can flavor the entire pizza or pasta, which is good because (as it's spreadable), it's moderately fatty. The sausage adds a unique flavor and texture to the meal, one that's hard to beat.

Just Ok
It was not that spreadable, and the taste was only ok. I used it to make a grilled cheese sandwich, and it was only ok and never used the rest.

Really adds depth and richness to the overall flavor of a meal
What a different, fun, interesting food. Nduja is new to us and we very much enjoyed it and will be sharing part of our order with friends and family. I can see continuing to incorporate it into appetizers, homemade pizza, and as a "mystery undertone layer" ingredient to some of our dishes. It really adds depth and richness to the overall flavor of a meal. We did call the makers about best storage practices and expiration and was told the following: - Try to keep the original casing as complete as possible and use it to wrap the open end - Scoop out or slice only what is needed - Keep airtight with plastic wrap or some other type of sealer; there may be some darkening of air-exposed product as it oxidizes, this not a concern and the product will still be good. - Refrigerate - Lifespan/expiration, 6 months or so
