I really only want one thing from my toaster...A built-in LCD screen so I can watch Netflix while toasting my bread!Ok, that was pretty silly. I just want my toaster to turn the raw bread golden brown from edge to edge. This one does exactly that. Look at the photo on the product page, your toast will look just like that. What's not to like? It thaws frozen bread and warms up cold toast but has no bagel setting so it toasts them on both sides. But it toasts so well, I don't care. I can live with it.I've only had it for 2 weeks so I can't speak to reliability.I bought it through Amazon for $30 but it's only available through 3rd party sellers for $60 now. At that price I think I'd look elsewhere. If the $30 dollar toaster returns, you should give it your serious consideration.

I bought this toaster for my rental unit. I liked it so much I bought another. Feels like good quality and operates with ease, it only takes one hand to load. The toast browns like expensive commercial models. Good toaster and excellent value ...thanks!

This toaster is just OK, works like all other toasters IMO. I like my toast like they show in the photo as a #6, but, like all other toasters I have had in my life, this toaster pops up my toast when it looks like #2...so, I have to push it down again and wait for it to darken my toast. It gets a 3 star because it does eventually toast to my satisfaction, and it does have a nice small footprint.

I have been using it for several months.no problems of burning/not working stuff.the toasts are kinda uneven but I am ok with this .not the best one but perfect for the price !

I was originally very disappointed in this toaster, and came VERY close to returning it. The bread slots need to be longer AND deeper!! I end up cutting off the sides, and the top of the bread isn't toasted.After looking for a decently priced replacement - and not finding one - I have decided to keep this little toaster. Bread toasts fast, and evenly.The toaster itself is attractive, although mine arrived with ?fingerprints? on the metal sides - a quality control issue, that certainly hasn't affected the operation. And I was very pleasantly surprised at the attention given to packaging!!All in all, if not for the bread slot sizing, I would definitely give this little toaster 5 stars!

I bought this toaster in August when I moved to a new home. Everything was normal, just a regular toaster. Worked fine.In early January, one ordinary morning making toast— the entire kitchen filled with noxious fumes! I unplugged it and ran outside. Somethjng internal to the toaster that smelled like burnt plastic had melted down. I could see melted black parts. It is now unuseable of course, and I am without toast. Very unsafe product!

I moved into a condo that had a toaster that was big and clunky and so I just tossed it out one day. I seldom needed one and if I did, I used a toaster oven. Yet, when company stay having a toaster is so much easier than a toaster oven. I shopped and picked out this one, mainly because of the reviews and especially the size. The first time used, it did emit a small odor but the guest was polite and said it didn't effect the taste whatsoever and after that it was fine. I am very pleased.

Disappointed in the toaster. I bought it based on the reviews, but although it is advertised as wide slots, they are not wide at all. Just barely fits a regularly sized whole wheat bead bread slice. Bagels are a bit scrunched. No where on the box does it state wide slot as in the item title. I would not buy it again if I knew how small the slots are. I'll keep it though as I don't want to go through the hassle of returning and researching another toaster. It toasts OK but just not very versatile.
