Disney Frozen Olaf 8” x 10 “ Hook and Latch Activity Playset

**CONS**-No grid or chart came with this!!!! Most standard latch hook kits come with one in addition to a color coated canvas grid to help with designation of the required pattern to complete the rug as is pictured. This kit came with no such chart/key. Very disappointed and annoyed by this, but I went ahead and did my best to complete it based off looking at the box and the color picture on the grid, which is fine but sometimes there are certain colors/squares that can be questionable in terms of which color yarn is supposed to be hooked through the square and can and likely did result the picture being slightly off or skewed. The grid also was not of the best or normal canvas type quality that is the norm for latch hook kits and it is flopsy mopsy in handling, if you will.**PROS**-One positive of this kit was the hook being included, the frame and stickers, as well as a little 2 page instruction booklet with pictures showing how to use the latch hook to hook the yarn strips onto the grid. May be a good kit for a youth who may be on the fence about taking up this hobby. It is an overall easy, fun hobby and it's cool that the kit includes the hook as this is not supplied in standard/normal latch hook kits.

I like that it's Olaf but it is not a strong canvas to work with. Putting masking tape around the edges is good so it does not break. I like the canvas because it's stronger work with. I myself won't be buying again. I should have known because of the price and how it's made. I just wanted something my niece's could try. I would recommend larch hooks for 8 years old and up.

This is not an accurate description of the product. I was so excited when I got it and then so disappointed. It is a thin piece of fabric that there is no way a little kid could latch hook on. I sent it right back.

Printed canvas, adorable, but canvas is too soft for a beginner. My 6yo gets frustrated. I suggest a stiffer canvas for a beginner.

Horrible product. Should have known by the price that this product was garbage. Threw it in the trash. Tried hooking with the so called yarn, would not say looped on the material.

Very cheaply made. There is no backing to support the grid. Latch hook without backing would be difficult for an adult to work on let alone a child.

My only issue is the yarn is very very fine.. so it makes it more difficult to work with. When I was a kid the yarn was better quality. The fine yarn makes it more difficult and frustrates my 10 yr old.

I bought this for my six year old granddaughter and I wished there would had been a chart with this to have made it easier to put together. Other than that I know she loved it for she loves all things FROZEN

Definitely not for a six year old
