This was an urgent buy and it was a life saver during summer

If I could give this item 0 stars, I would. Seriously, do not waste your money, these are the worst fans I’ve ever bought. I optimistically bought 3, I’ve had to return all 3. One had nowhere near enough power to actually blow barely any air out, at all, and its buttons were not working properly so turning it back off was a pain. One was seriously over heating after 1min use and was making the worst high pitched squeaking noise you could imagine. One actually seemed ok, and we didn’t think we were going to have to return it..until it had been on for 30mins, and then it too was overheating and even worse, the blade fell off entirely while the fan was on and the fan’s cage had to be taken apart to put the blade back on. Absolutely trash.

You get what you pay for, I read the reviews here and was worried about the noise levels and lack of airflow, It had the same issues also the over heating. As there were no instructions manuals I had to look at the parts that came with the pack. The blade seems to no fit the spinning spigot properly and there is a lot of heat build up because the blade is not spinning in sync with the spigot, There is a little spring like coil in the accessories bag, that needs to be fitted at the back of the blade (with pressure) before the blade is inserted (Hard Press Fit) to the spigot, if that blade goes in easily the fit is too loose and you will get the heat, reduce flow and noise. Law and behold the airflow increased and the rattling noise completely went away. The blade should be spinning in sync and the fit needs to be tight by means of the little coil to ensure no slippage of the blade, not the strongest fan but it is a two speed. Sufficient for the value in my opinion. I did a before and after, Noise and flow changed after fitting it correctly, instructions manuals would have been fantastic.

Great fan!! I’ve spent ages choosing and was thinking to buy much more expensive one but got this one as it’s just for the heat wave. Arrived promptly well packaged. Easy to assemble. Most importantly it’s cooling the room very well. Not noisy imo and powerful. Great value. Thanks

The fan needs to be assembled. The instructions are poor and there is no diagram with links to the assembly steps being given. Some steps are completely missing from the instructions so take care or else you may have to backtrack and disassemble parts of what you have already assembled. In particular, there were no (or unclear) instructions on (1) attaching the 'Signature' roundel to the protective front guard. This needs doing BEFORE following the instructions to install the front guard and marry it, and attach it to, the rear guard. This is because 3 screws have to be driven into the roundel from the INSIDE of the front guard. (2) when aligning the front guard to the rear guard make sure the screw holes are aligned at the bottom of the two guards BEFORE clipping the sides of the two guards together. (3) There are 4 small black rubber feet which have to be pushed into plastic lugs on the base. 3 of my 4 had to be SLIGHTLY chamfered as the rubber became deformed when trying to initially insert/push the tight fitting rubber into the lugs. I used a pair of small nail scissors to slightly trim the edges (4) The main assembly has to be fitted to a separately supplied base. Although missing from the instructions it is fairly clear that it is necessary to remove 4 screws from the separate base, attach the assembled main fan to the base, and then put the screws back. As to overall quality of the fan, the general quality of the plastic chassis appears to me to be not so good (more flimsy) as a very similar designed fan I bought some years back. I just hope that the actual motor and operating parts, which certainly worked well upon testing, are better than the plastic body and that the fan lasts as long as the one we have already got. There was a slight crack near a screw on the separate base though it isn't going to interfere with the operation of the fan.

This fan is absolutely horrible, I purchased 2 of these fans and on the first day of usage, the first one would not spin properly without making lots of noise. When I used my second one of these fans, it took a week before it stopped spinning, and the insides of the fan began to melt, and the fan blade would fly off of the fan. It smelt like burning when I had it on. it is too loud to use at night. Please do not buy this fan unless you want to have a hazard in your house. I would rate this as 0 stars if I could.
