Pretty good value set. Nice saw and decent mitre box.
Tolsen Mitre Box & Fine Tenon Saw 300mm 12": Considering that some sellers charge around £12 for the mitre box alone, this is pretty good value at £13.50. It so happened that I needed a mitre box that could take a 4" wide plank, and also needed a fine-toothed tenon saw, so was very happy to find them both in one fair-priced set. The saw is actually in better shape than the one in the illustration, and it's not that easy to find a 14tpi saw with hardened teeth, for this sort of price. The saw is very sharp and it cur though mahogany with ease. Unfortunately, the mitre box is a bit distorted, with one of the slots almost closed up, but it'll work, after I widen the distorded slot. That's the only reason I almost deducted one star. However, I really like the mitre box because its internal width is over 100mm and it has a lip on the underside to stop it sliding on the bench. It also has two countersunk screw holes for optionally screwing it to the bench (excellent). I wish they had put the vertical slot near the right end of the box, instead of the left. Then it would be better suited to right-handers like me. Will the cheap plastic be up to the job? Only time will tell.

Saw is great and works well. Mitre block a bit cheap and flimsy though.

Bought to do a couple of projects in the house as was no call to buy a mitre saw, does exactly as it describes great cut quality, well built design, fitted the wood I needed, great Performance saw with it, great buy, would recommend to do the odd jobs in the house if you need to cut anything with angles or straight, many options for angles of cuts.
