All David Tennant's Episodes and More!
This didn't just have the original episodes which David Tennant aired. Two animated episodes and a two-part The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith were included in this set; along with an in-depth interview where David Tennant reacts to Jodie Whittaker becoming the Doctor. Some of the in-vision commentaries weren't there, which appeared in the original set, but overall, I felt I'd purchased a more complete satisfying product in this version of the Tenth Doctor's adventures.

Tennant's Doctor has flaws.
The fact that this version of the doctor has flaws but tries to be heroic is endearing. The actor shows his experience and ability to give depth to the character. One of my favorite doctors.

I don't regret anything.
I have no remorse for a single little thing that led me to this purchase. I absolutely love David Tennant as The Doctor and as an actor. Need I say more?

Considering all the details, a must-have for die-hard 10th doctor fans.
For the blu-ray complete David Tennant collection released 9/17/2019.Exterior/Packaging: I expected it to be a somewhat flimsy paper sleeve cover with a box or two inside, and that's what it is- one box for series 2 & 3, which is pretty thin, and a much thicker box for series 4, the 2009 specials, and the other special features including the animated specials "Dreamland" and "The Infinite Quest" as well as the Sarah Jane Adventures story "The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith" which featured 10 back in 2009 as well. Talk about a surprise! The art on the discs is good, the art on the individual blu-ray cases and the sleeve cover is surprisingly creative, in my opinion. I don't understand why it is that the Doctor Who logo on the box and cover sleeve couldn't have been the same one from the RTD era, and instead had to be the one for the Chibnall era, but I'm not really surprised by that considering that new logo has taken over all Who merch, and I mean to say every single piece of new Doctor Who merchandise I have ever seen since like mid-2018. Not that big a deal though, but it would've been cool and nostalgic in my view to have that cool old logo back for this. Eh.Content:, I was VERY pleasantly surprised. One of the perks of owning series 2-2009 specials in their box sets was the special features, including things like Doctor Who Confidential, Tennant's video diaries, deleted scenes and bloopers, the two Children in Need specials, other stuff...all of that is cool stuff if you're a big fan of this era in the show's history and I wasn't expecting that to be included in this release. Guess what...it appears to be all here (not in HD though, as far as I can tell none of the special features are). The blu-ray menus are virtually the same as they were on the old DVD releases but updated for blu-ray style menu navigation which is really cool, to me. I was expecting it to be a lazy single-still menu with the episodes listed on one side or something but its not- they recreated the old menu (at least for series 2, haven't gone further to see if the series 4 menu still will have that annoyingly loud "THE TARDIS IS A WEAPON AND IT MUST BE DESTROYED" dalek audio on it.Viewing experience: You've got every Tennant episode. In glorious HD!...well, kind of. Reason I say that is because series 2-4 and the Next Doctor 2008 Christmas special were not originally shot in HD-compatible cameras (or whatever you call them) and HD production on Doctor Who didn't begin until 2009's Planet of the Dead. So series 2-4 and the Next Doctor have been "up-converted" I guess from their SD originals. So it doesn't look quite as sharp or crystal clear as you may expect. BUT...it definitely does look better than SD, especially the text of the titles and credits and some of the visual effects. A discernible improvement, but definitely not a "restoration" of any kind (no one's really asking for that, though, at least I don't think so). I was impressed, having seen all the Tennant episodes on DVD and on their iTunes digital downloads (many of which have this bizarre video filter that further diminishes the picture).Have not yet seen this new Tennant interview but I hope to God its more than like just 5 minutes of him reflecting on the End of Time.Last, the price. My goodness. Around $35 when I preordered it. Talk about a steal. Get it for the Tennant fan in your life, if its you or someone else. Get it if you're craving these episodes in HD (or close to it).

Impressive collection for the money!
This is the BEST way to watch the David Tennant episodes! The whole set comes with so much bang for your buck, its hard to believe the price was so cheap. The whole set comes with every single episode with the 10th Doctor run except for 'The Day of the Doctor' which wasn't in his run so its understandable. Each episode has been remastered to 1080p and has had slight digital remastering. They look great! Especially considering they were all filmed in standard definition. The 2009 specials made after Season 4, which were filmed in I believe native 720p look amazing on the 1080p remaster. The main area you'll notice the uptick in resolution is the title sequences, which have more clear text and look overall more clean and polished. Easily the best these episodes have EVER LOOKED! Don't expect them to look 4k crisp however, because the source material was only filmed in standard definition, but they do look miles better then the old DVDs. The sound was good, clear and punchy with deep base and appropriately clean sounding audio, as well as 5.1 surround which was a wonderful addition. Nothing else much to say other than it's again the best I've ever heard these episodes. The special features are also amazing, everything is included from trailers, confidential cutdowns (I think for copyright reasons.) Video diaries, and bonus episodes such as time crash and the wedding of River Song and the animated specials with Martha. The David Tennant interview is here and is interesting but not much to write home about, however you may get more enjoyment out of it then me. Bottom line, this set is great, I don't think I have any negatives as this set includes everything. I do wish the confidential episodes were the full versions but I don't think they could help that as it was probably down to copyright reasons. If you like David Tennant this is the set to get or are thinking about getting this set, it's so worth it considering the amount of episodes you get and the quality of the disks. Being that this is the first time these episodes have been released on Blu-Ray in North America, it's so nice to finally have them available for purchase. This set could have been priced at $45-$50 and still totally have been worth it. It's a no brainer to buy this set as even the DVD collection is not very cheap. If only the Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi Blu-Ray collections were this cheap, as they are several hundred dollars on amazon, which is a bit ridiculous.Thank you for reading this review! I hope it gives you a better insight of what this set includes :).
