After 1 day I realized the e-collar was not the best choice, she had limited vision
I recently spayed my pug and in order to avoid her licking her incision I opted for the common choice, the e-collar. After 1 day I realized the e-collar was not the best choice, she had limited vision, difficulty eating/drinking and she was uncomfortable when sleeping. I then purchased this surgi snuggly and received it the next day (paid extra for that). The recovery process is 10-14 days and I am absolutely extatic that I went with this product. She can do all that she normally would except she can't get to her incision. I must say though, she already wasn't reaching for her incision, so each dog varies!I will say that the velcro could be better, there are 3 pieces to be velcroed onto 2 pieces, 3 for 3 would have been better.

Worked great for my Pomeranian's spay surgery
This "pajama" worked great. Our tea cup Pomeranian was spayed and we did not want to subject her to wearing the cone. This allowed her to have access to be able to go potty with no unsnapping of flaps. She felt comfortable and we knew she would be safe from licking the stitches. We sewed on 2 snaps because our dog is small and the Velcro was not enough to cover. Not a big deal but wanted to give the feedback for sizing. My dog is 3 lbs and we bought the small. In addition it washes well. Highly recommend.

May work for some dogs, but not mine. Pricey for what you get.
This may be a good product if my dog wasn't Houdini. He still was able to get this off enough to shred the pad inside and pee all over it. It was hard to put on and then to put the pad in for my incontinent dog. For some people this may work well--especially with larger dogs. For my dog it was a waste of money. I wish I could get my money back for it.

Perfect for a spayed dog out of surgery
This thing is a god send!!!! My dog hated ... I mean hated... her Ecollar after spay surgery. This is so efficient. My only complaint is that it shrinks in the wash and the holes for arms and legs just keep getting bigger and bigger. However, it is so convenient that I would be willing to order a new one if she had any other surgery in the future (let's hope not!).

My wiggly, bendy, very determined male puppy was able to sneak around the fabric to lick his stitches he had after we neutered him. I'm guessing however that a wound that was higher up on his chest or closer to his back would have been more helpful to us.

Saved my dog
Needed a tight fitting compression stocking for my dog after he was bitten by a pit bull. He kept getting fluid build up and we tried so many products. Finally found this product it was so funny looking on him but it did the trick he wore it 24/7. We only had it on around his mid section.

It does NOT work!!!!
My dog got neutered and I didn't want him to use a cone because it makes them feel very uncomfortable, so I bought this suit based on the reviews but it didn't work!!! After the first night I noticed a redness around the stitches so as I observed him I noticed that when he lifts the rear paw the fabrics stretches and he can reach the wound. I tried to make it as tight as possible but it just didn't work and my dog could still find a way to bite the stitches even tough the size was right. I am very disappointed specially because this product is kind of expensive! My suggestion to the manufacture is to make the suit with legs and just two holes for pee and poop, that would work.Until they improve this product I strongly advise you to NOT spend your money on this and just stick with the comfy cone because at least the wound will heal!

We have a dog with a spinal cord injury who occasionally has urinary incontinence. This item is awesome. I can place an incontinence pad in the back flap and it keeps her dry enough to sleep in our bed with zero accidents. A little tough to get on and off but overall very satisfied.
