These work great in our Playtex Diaper Genie Elite Pail System with Odor Lock Carbon Filter (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HT6E6GW). Although Nursery Fresh does not list that one I can tell you that it does in fact work. We have used plenty of these so far and the cost savings is great. Especially with subscribe and save. Playtex / Diaper Genie did something sneaky on this last version of Diaper pail where they put a ring inside where the refills go to prevent you from using Nursery Fresh or other diaper refills and only to use 'Genuine' Playtex diaper genie refills. I was really annoyed by this and started to take a look at it and noticed that the ring was an addition in their manufacturing process and wasn't premaritally attached and with a little pressure I was able to remove it so these Nursery Fresh refills fit perfectly and the lid closed without any issues. Great cost savings and they protect the orders just as good as the genuine ones. Give them a try, your wallet will thank you.

Lets be honest here, the product does what its suppose to but you have to do some extra work. Its cheaper then the diaper genie brand. I feel its worth the 30 seconds to buy this if you are truly interested in saving money. There is always excess bag when you open it up. I just hold it up, let the diapers fall down then cut it, re-tie and close it back. Whats the big deal? I used to try to stick it back in the container but I realized that was an extra step that wasn't needed. You don't have to touch anything yucky. Nothing gets wasted. Bottom line is you save money. Period. Its thick enough that it has never ripped on me. You do still smell the diapers but its not horrible, and its only when you open it or take it out to the trash. I have a 2 year old and a month old. I have been using this since my son was just a few months.

We have the Playtex Diaper Genie Elite and these fit perfectly. This purchase is a much better deal for your money compared to the Playtex Diaper Genie brand. These do not rip and tear when full and they seem to contain odor better than the name brand. One down side: no warning when the ring is about to run out of bags. With the name brand, there is a red line that appears when you are on the last bag but not so with this brand. We've had a couple of poopy accidents along the way, but we now know how to anticipate this better. Bottom Line: Way more bang for your buck and way more sturdy and functional. Highly recommend!

I own a Diaper Genie II and have been purchasing the Diaper Genie brand refills for about a year. I use disposable diapers and disposable wipes and shove them both into the can. I don't know why I didn't buy these in the first place! These Nursery Fresh Refills are about 20%-25% cheaper than the name brand, and work perfectly. I have no idea what "7 layer" means - as far as I can tell, it's only one layer of plastic, but identical in color and thickness to the Diaper Genie brand refills. The interior diameter of the item seems to be slightly smaller than the name brand by about 1/2". It has not hindered my ability to use the diaper pail in any way. Thanks Nursery Fresh for keeping our baby budget down!

These seem to work in our diaper genie elite just as well as the OEM inserts with one tiny issue. That issue being that there's no marker towards the end of the bags. The DG liners have a black line to warn you that you are near the end. This is helpful so that you can gauge when to cut the liner and form another bag (if you can) or to just tie it off and toss the remaining end. Other than that they contain the smell (we have three in diapers) and allow the jaws and lid to close just as the original liners do. Not sure why another review mentioned that the lid didn't go down - sometimes that happens with the originals as well. I am buying again as long as they remain a deal and we have little people in diapers. A tip to those complaining about the bag pulling all the way out or too fast - keep the plastic ring that you are supposed to remove ON - this helps slow the bag usage excess.
