Q: would i use a chainsaw file to sharpen it?

Hi David, Thanks for your question, the answer is yes - you can sharpen the saw once in a while with an inexpensive, regular 5/32 or 4mm round chainsaw file. Oiling your chainsaw is also highly recommended, use 3 in 1 multi-purpose oil when storing the saw and give it a quick spray of WD-40 before use, when possible. Q: does it cut in both directions ?
