Saw is fantastic!
I have been using this on my Alaskan mill to cut slabs. I have a 24" bar on it with a Grunberg ripping chain. Has gone through wet maple and wet cedar like butter. When I first got it, it took a while to get it started, but part of that's on me as I wasn't following the proper procedure (the instruction manual is not great here, but plenty of YouTube vids out there to help guide you through the procedure). I also replaced the spark plug that came with the saw. Once I got this done, started and has run like a champ. Now it starts no problem. This saw is soooo worth every penny.

Good saw
All may tools are made by stihl, bought this saw for price and will not have a lot of use for it , could not justify $1800 for the real deal In short saw was well packaged , started on 3rd pull/ and starts easy no more than 2 pulls , ran two tanks of fuel so far very good , on first tank I let her idle the whole tank with throttle snaps every few minutes, she ran a big ruff on first tank but o did use a 25:1 oil mix for break in , second tank 40:1 mix saw smooth out, running very nice, did some very light cutting to break in bar and chain and saw after every cut. I let her idle for a few minutes did that through the whole second tank, I’m very happy with the saw so far I’m gonna take it easy for the first five tanks before I put it on the Alaska mill , I’ll use it for a few months and let you guys know how she’s doing, but for the money very very happy

Great saw for price!!!!
Lots of power can use a sthil bar and chain on it I have a 32 inch bar n chain on it!! leaks gas when sitting and bar and chain oil but what chain saw doesn’t had to adjust the jets alittle but rips threw wood! Always make sure the nuts and bolts on the hole saw are tight after running it the first time or the first 30 mins!! Well worth the money instead of 1200$-1500$ for a sthil chainsaw that and no stupid California regulation for the engine!

Worth a try
Runs well, cuts nice. The pull rope coil malfunctioned within first 20 starts. I replaced with one purchased from Amazon for a Stihl 660. I don't regret purchasing, but the saw is made cheap, and I don't expect longevity.

Works great!
Let me start by saying, I ordered the "Blue Thunder" model... because it's blue!! What I got in the mail was the Orange one you see in pic 3... slight disappointment. Other then that, the quality of this powerhead is better then a previously purchased powerhead from a different company. Better quality product. Filled with recommended gas/oil mix and b/c oil Fired up on 3rd pull. Sounds great and cuts great! Just need to make sure you take it easy on the first 4-5 tanks of gas for the "break-in period" about 1/2 - 3/4 throttle to start out. No wide open till the 5th tank. The wood in these pics are a hard wood oak tree and a water oak.. It cut them with ease...using a 36" bar and chain with a milling attachment... great product, great customer service, quick to respond.

If it would start...
Item came damaged upon delivery. Initially started but has had issues starting despite correcting for issues with flooding and ignition. Company has been responsive but does not seem to understand the nature of the issue. I have already replaced parts at my own expense only to have the company send replacement parts after the fact. Will likely be returning this chainsaw soon. Good value for money if it works properly Update: Farmertec wanted me to ship it back for a refund… to China… Since it would cost more to ship it back than it cost to buy I said no (I did notice their shipping label implied it was fabric textiles not a saw so I imagine it was cheaper for them to ship to me). Amazon had to step in to make it right. Cannot recommend unless you like to gamble.

Timber man happy man
Love the price bought three 338 hasn't arrived 466 660 both in use as I write this review 660 cutting teeth on some white oak shortly out of the box checked all bolts people said they had issues with found all to be tight seen so many suggestions on the mix I'll stick with 25 :1. Till proven otherwise these saws are run hard and all day don't think they will be issues with build up seen couple blow from other logging companies running 50:1 and for the critics first two white oak logs together brought 1,000 all three saws payed for with a little change left so I ordered another I think I got that video in and only I must stand in my shoes and I chose not to wear ppe so please be concerned for your safety this is my 36 year in the business so I don't have to worry about making it another 36 if something does go horribly wrong maybe you do I almost forgot value for the money not to light easy to use unless your a beginner do yourself a favor order a lite bar I did old man can get up and down those hills and rocks now Timber man out

On first inspection and run of this device everything seemed good. The handle didn't fit correctly and required some elbow grease to install, but manageable. Then I mounted a bar and everything went sideways. Used the same starting technique as with the first start and nothing. Just lots of fuel flowing out the exhaust. After 24 hours it started up, no choke, and completed it's first rip cut. Worked like a charm, but be patient with it.

So I looked at the reviews and felt I was dealing with a responsible and honourable seller. I requested a refund and was told that I would not be getting one. I explained the problem of a faulty chain tensioner and was met with the runaround. I have pictures of the faulty parts and yet still they offer nothing. I would definitely recommend staying away from this seller and never buying this piece of equipment as it is not backed by the seller. Very disappointed that they have done nothing to resolve my issue. $700 Canadian down the drain. After pleading with them and asking to at the very least replace the defective part the finally agreed. I was told they would ship out a new replacement part right away. It has been almost 50 day since and I’ve received no part. Terrible!

UPDATE after a winter: The plastic is brittle, releasing the pull start handle cracked the side. Spilled gas discolored the plastic also. Unit arrived missing fuel cap retainer, and with cracked aluminum side cover. Seller shipped the wrong replacement cap (for the oil cap instead) but was a different color, and instead of original blue, sent a white replacement aluminum cover, presumably a stihl replacement part. It seems they have two grades of parts, the blue junk for new complete engines, and the good OEM grade replacement parts for stihl engines. Should work ok as a mill power head if stored indoors and used lightly in the summer only (brittle plastic) but I wouldn't want to be lugging it around and risk damaging it from normal use.
