Great shakes ! Love all the flavours but especially the coffee and peanut ones . Kept me full , really full. And the weight dropped off . Only problem is the price . But it’s worth it if it works it’s a lovely creamy texture and has subtle nit in your face tastes but still a good flavour. . So easy to just go to the fridge and get a bottle rather then go and buy something which will cost twice as much ! Try it , the taster set , it’s great .

Fabulous as well as quick filling and full of flavour ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the best meal replacement shake I have tried. I went for the taster pack initially and have settled on Chocolate and Banana as the ones I buy weekly. Flavour preference comes down to personal choice. I like the flavour, consistency and the fact that they don’t taste chalky, like other brands. As a result my weight has become easier to manage, which is the whole point.

When it comes to these meal replacement options, taste is a top factor. Nutritionally and price-wise, many are on a similar playing field, though yfood usually sits at the top end of the protein table. After trying Arla, Huel, Plenny and Bol, I find the yfood classic line is the best tasting of the bunch, thanks to its milk-based formula (Plenny is just as good in texture). It's smooth, creamy and sweet. They definitely have the taste and texture down, the flavours are also varied, with the Cold Brew Coffee also carrying a 100mg caffeine shot. I use these for breakfast or lunch, usually on days when I'm hungry but don't really have an appetite. It's a healthy way to get a complete meal in your system without having to force down food, and it's far better than just skipping a meal or grabbing whatever bits are nearby. These are not meant to replace your diet, you still need those big whole food dinners. The milk base is definitely the winning ingredient here, it's also lactose free for those with lactose intolerance. However, it is full of milk protein, so it is not suitable for anyone with a milk allergy. The naturally occurring sugar and fat content is also high, with each 500ml bottle packing around 22g of sugar and 15g of fat. It's not a problem if you have no specific dietary issues, but they are on the higher side. My only personal issue is the sweetness. All the flavours are quite sweet due to the use of sucralose. While it’s an effective artificial sweetener, it creates a taste that, when combined with the rich texture, can feel like you're overindulging. This sweetness leads to flavour fatigue surprisingly quickly, ask yourself, how many times can you eat the same sweet cake in a week? It gives the strange impression of having something unhealthy, despite knowing it's nutritionally complete. For these reasons, I'm giving the classic milk-based range 4 stars. It's the best tasting option with a fantastic protein-to-calorie ratio, but the intense sweetness might not be for everyone.

Because I work 12 hours night shift, I felt I wasn't getting enough nutrition and was constantly feeling weak. I ordered my first yfood the recommendation of someone at my workplace who was using weight-loss injections. He said the injections had reduced his appetite, but his body still needed energy, so he researched and found these liquid food. So I replaced one of my meals with these yfood during my shift days and felt a significant increase in my energy. By the way, there are 5 different flavors in the pack, they have good taste and texture so it doesn't give me the feeling of constantly drinking the same boring stuff😊

I wrote down my thoughts on each flavour as I went along. Vanilla: 2/10: Tastes okay at first but halfway through I noticed an aftertaste so to finish the bottle I thinned it out with oat milk; I would never have it again. Chocolate: 9/10: It went down really easy and I could drink this everyday if I had to. Banana: 6/10: I wouldn’t have it everyday but it was nice enough to have again every now and again. Coconut: 0/10: I don’t like coconut in general so I had a feeling I wouldn’t like it and after one sip I threw it out it was too sweet and really didn’t agree with me. Coffee: 6/10: This tasted really nice I think it tastes the best out of this taster pack BUT I didn’t like the scent or taste it left on my breath after so I wouldn’t have it again because of that. I recently tried the fresh berry and it was nice but it didn’t agree with my digestion which is very sensitive so my reviews of the flavours themselves are personal taste. Now for general overall opinion of the drinks. I wasn’t sure if id like the consistency of the drinks but I did they are very smooth and thick so I would use a small cup and sip them over an hour and because of that I found them very filling. I stored them in the fridge and my experience wasn’t bad at all I just knocked a couple of stars off because of the couple of flavours I really didn’t like but these are well worth a try and I have ordered some more different flavours to try from their website and I’m looking forward to trying them. Edit: The fudge brownie flavour is my favourite and I do recommend it wholeheartedly but I have stopped buying yfood drinks now as they don’t agree with my digestion.

Good value and great taste

Hallo, ich schreibe selten Rezensionen, aber bei Produkten die ich langfristig auf dem Markt sehen möchte, um sie vorallem selbst zu konsumieren, tuhe ich das gern. Lieferung: -wie immer super, mit Prime (ein Tag später da) -Packstation abgeholt Verpackung: -gut verpackt -sind in Plastikflaschen (aber gute Qualität, kein Geruch, vollkommen i.o.) Produkt: -500ml Flaschen (12 Stück gleich bestellt) -Fresh Berry als Geschmacksrichtung (schmeckt sehr lecker) Eindruck: Ich bin zurzeit sehr auf dem Sprung (Studium, nebenbei Arbeit) und da schätzt man jede Minute die man länger im Bett bleiben kann. Dabei kommt das Frühstück leider immer zu kurz. Das Getränk liefert zum einen die nötige Energie, um bis zum Mittag durchzukommen und zum anderen hemmt es das Hungergefühl. (für ca. 3-5h) Man fühlt sich teilweise echt satt und man merkt, dass der Körper für einen kurzen Moment wirklich Energie zieht, um die Nährstoffe aufzunehmen/verdauen. (wie nach dem Verzehr eines Stücks Fleisch) Da sind wirklich sehr viele Nährstoffe drin die 25%-50% des täglichen Bedarfs decken. (also kein Soft Drink.. eher wie Essen aus dem Mixer) Geschmack: Der Geschmack ist sehr gut. Ganz leicht dickflüssig. Man schmeckt nur die Geschmacksrichtung. Wenn ungekühlt, auch ganz leicht mehlig (aber geschmacksneutrales mehlig).. Keine Klümpchen wie bei manchen Proteindrinks o.ä. wirklich sehr gute Qualität. Fazit: Sehr gutes Produkt, sehr hilfreich in bestimmten Lebenssituationen. Lieber wäre mir natürlich ein ausgewogenes Frühstück, aber zum überbrücken bis zum richtigen Essen optimal. Preis Leistung stimmt auch. Ist zwar vlt nicht billiger als ein selbstgemachtes Frühstück, aber hat seine Vorzüge.
