This is a fine product we just used for a church ministry interview video. The sound wquality is great and fits exactly what we need.Cons: It is not shielded so any movement or touch to the boom will be picked up. The fuzzy wind cover isn't good at all, but much better than nothing. Wire that comes with the set is workable but should be replaced with better quality at first chance.All in all I am very pleased with the price and a good studio mic.

I like the fact the kit comes with everything you might need for a field shoot (except for the boom pole), but it's really not a high quality mic...When I took this out on my first field shoot, I ended up having to use a Rode shotgun for everything because there was too much electronic noise on this one to compete.

This seems like a very good mic for the money. The sound recorded through it is clear and vibrant. The shock cradle works very well and other extras seem good. The mic construction looks good and solid.

It will capture sound at a good quality. It is neat because it is a good starter but if you already have a very good shotgun mic, it is not a replacement.

A nice mic works great with my video camera and digital recorder
