Large, but effective
These are some large antennas. I haven't had a problem with them falling over like some said. I definitely see a more stable signal now, even at my workshop over 200' from this router with cinder block walls. It's not a super high speed boost, but my 5G network and 2.4 network are more stable around my property without getting a repeater. The size of antenna doesn't bother me since I am placing this in a comm closet in the very near future. Good purchase for $10.

Boosted signal for cams
These boosted the signals for my cameras just as expected, but remember that I can't enhance my nvr (receiver) antenna, don't know how, so the signal boost can't be much if it's just one end, and the equipment (cams and nvr) has their own specifications where you just can't boost their signal too much further than what they are designed for. So what if my wireless camera can now record 1080p vids from almost 200 ft away? They were designed for about 150-200 ft to begin with, so I did not really increase its distance more than 20 feet. I can boost the signal stronger if I figure out how to do that with an nvr, but I doubt that will boost it much more, maybe around 220 ft max. It was already at about 170+ ft before the boosting, so you can't expect the giant wire extensions you got from Amazon to extend much further. Reasonable increase will be reasonable.

They work
They work great on my Nighthawk router.

No measurable range extension
Hoped it will help to extent range but observes no diff vs OEM ones. The majority of regular home users most likely are dealing with residential building walls. The low rating is justified since this product may be good in lab or open space, it most likely provides very little value for home users.

As advertised. No negatives. Get it.
This review is for: - ASIN=B07V71QK9M - Title="9dBi 2.4GHz 5.8GHz Dual Band WiFi Antenna 3-Pack, Omni-Directional Wireless Antenna with RP-SMA Connector for Wireless Network Router, PCI/PCIe Card, USB Adapter, IP Camera" - Brand: Queenti - Ships from AmazonAmazon - Sold by MenkeyMenkey Why should one buy this kind of product? - Your previous antennas are of lower dBi. Lower dBi antennas have a more omni-directional dipole radiation pattern which is fine for broadcasting a signal in a big sphere. - You want to flatten the pattern significantly to broadcast over a longer horizontal distance at the cost of vertical. Positives: - Price is excellent; ordered twice (6 count). - Build quality is fine. Used in indoor application (x4) and outdoor application (x2). - Range is significantly improved compared to my previous 2dBi antennas (omni-directional). - Gain measured using simple equipment and apps shows about 9dBi gain as advertised on 2.4GHz and slightly higher gain on 5GHz on a path with clear line of sight with no walls/obstructions. This behavior is expected for dual-band antenna. - The dipole radiation pattern is now nearly flat and reaches a significantly longer distance instead of being wasted above and below the antenna. Coverage pattern was extrapolated from the gain measurements described above. Negatives: None.

did improve but ...
There are 2 problems with the product 1) They wont stay on any angle, meaning they will just fall to the left or right so you cannot adjust antennas. 2) it improved strength for my video camera system improving throughput but now they lose video meaning it cannot hold it, before installing it always had video without issue but i was concerned it showed only have 2 bars so now at 4 bars signal strength i lose video. reduce rating to 2 they wont stay on angle and just keep falling very easy to install , also used this with my Linksys Router WRT32x

OK replacement, not a better signal.
They’re ok as a replacement, but don’t expect any more signal than your original antenna. They are very long however. The description states the accurate length, I just didn’t pay attention.

Cheap way to upgrade wireless routers
This is an inexpensive way to upgrade your WIFI routers. I used it on the popular Asus RT-68U and it boost the signal by 3-6db using my phone meter around the house. A 3db gain is doubling the signal strength. A so called new WIFI6 or AX router may not even give that much a boost let alone 6db! I know this because I also own three AX routers. While they are good for AX to AX connections, when it comes to AC or even N connections, their signal strength often are not what one is hopping for. BTW, many more expensive outdoor WIFI security cameras also use compatible antenna connectors. If your signal is weak and you are not willing or unable to run euthenist cable to hardwire the camera, these antennas is also a good way to boost the signal of the camera.
