This Tamanu oil is fantastic. It helps reduce fine lines and plumps dry skin. It also helped with minimising acne. I havnt noticed any difference in lightening scars yet, but I have only been using it for two weeks, most days.

I purchased this product after reading about it's value in possibly treating eczema. I have a severe and very painful eczema problem with my hands where the palms and in between my fingers crack open to the point of bleeding and have the typical red eczema rash on the back on my hands as well. I have tried every treatment known including essential oils, expensive prescription steroid creams, and doctor prescribed light treatments with little or no help at all. I have literally spent thousands of dollars trying to find some relief from this problem! I have used the Tamanu oil for less than two weeks now and have already seen dramatic improvements and reduction in pain. I use the Tamanu oil at night by applying a liberal amount to both hands (I soak them down good), then I put on some light cotton gloves while it soaks in overnight. During the day, I use a good moisturizing cream and also wash my hands in "Hibicleanse liquid" to help kill any bacteria on the skin once or twice a day. The addition of the Tamanu oil to this regime appears to be making a huge difference so far and I am very pleased. The smell isn't as bad as I thought it would be after reading comments about it on the internet, but it does have a characteristic odor that lasts quite a while after application. This would be about the only negative about it in my eyes, but not a deal breaker by any means. I probably should give this product 5 stars, but felt like I need to use it awhile longer to get a real feel for it's long term value, before doing so. In any case, I am thrilled with the results so far and hope it works for other eczema suffers out there!

Tamanu oil is such a wonderfully effective product for reducing scarring and promoting healing (in our case for rashes incurred from weeding Virginia creeper)! Our first order was perfect: naturally fragrant, fresh oil delivered quickly in an easy-to-use bottle with a dropper. Our second order was a little bit rancid -- not so old that it could not be used, but with a noticeable undertone of less-than-fresh oil. Great purchase(s) for the price, though.

As i gotten older and researched all the bad about pharmaceutical products. I have researched natural alternatives.. My husband fell asleep with a heating pad. Im return he got 2nd degree burn. This is just below his hip..I searched for something specifically for 2nd degree burns. "Tamanu Oil" showed up. I googled it and was impressed at the variety of healing benefits to the skin. Not only helping with burns but also "Sciatica" Sore throats" to "Scars" and "Wrinkles" Ect. It came in a dark amber bottle with a Eye dropper that was neatly wrapped beside it.. It has a fruity nutty smell..Its not to bad of a smell.. Its greenish in color. Its greasy but soaks nice into the skin. .Anyway!@ i applied drops of this oil onto the burn after cleaning it with some left overHypochlorite solution i had. It did not burn or sting him!! It took away the itching he was having As Well As The Pain! Also at his 2nd cleaning and dressing the burn looked lighter in color. I saw with my own eyes!! ##SPEAKING OF EYES## DO NOT LET THIS GET CLOSE TO YOUR EYES..IT BURNS LIKE HOLLY HELL##.. So out of curiosity...i applied a few drops to my face.Avoiding eye area...and about a 1/2 tsp of sugar. and did a sugar scrub! Rinsed with warm water.My face was baby soft and had a beautiful glow. I applied to a few scars and within 5 days they were diminishing. Also using this mixed with coconut oil,jobo oil, Vit E really made m skin pretty and soft like when i was younger in my 20s. Its been 5 days and his burn is smaller,lighter in apperance and its healing nice..Oh!!! my husband suffers sciatica.And i kid you not! This really lifted alot of that pain. He almost forgot he had it while working a 8 hour shift.. This cost me under $15 and has provided us with so much! Im still using it for anything i think of.And the results are all POSITIVE.. Did i mention its ORGANIC also ....Im so pleased with this im getting ready to order another bottle...Please give this a try! you wont be disappointed!!! Just keep away from eyes!
