This sealant tape actually works great. It is malleable, had great tack, and appears to actually be water tight.One tip: I would suggest a Magic Eraser or similar scrubbing tool to remove any excess residue. It comes off easily that way.

I am on my 4th roll of this - restoring a 1962 camper. The good = it works, it arrives on time and it is as promised. However, all 4 rolls have had wildly different adhesion, like they were made in different factories, or with different formulas....but all 4 worked fine. It will definitely stick to itself and your project almost instantly, then to remove it you will stretch it... so be careful and put it where you want it the first time!

Replaced moisture barrier in jeep door. Tape adhered to door great, moisture barrier adhered to tape easily. Very good product !

Got guys who installed my Yardistry gazeboo crush several screws and damage roof sheets which led to small by annoying dripping under heavy rain. Tried special roofing caulking with no success and ended up applying this tape. It got tested by a couple heavy rains and so far seems to hold well. Will provide an update if it starts leaking. Looks like a really solid product perfect for insulating metal roofing seams.

My husband used this for a roof. It worked as expected.
