I have a serious drink problem… namely that I often fall asleep while watching tv and drinking a cup of tea sat up in bed, only waking up once it’s burning me and has soaked the bedding and mattress. Yes, I know I should probably stop drinking tea and coffee in bed, but I’m disabled so spend the majority of my time in bed, so I can’t stop or I’d probably dehydrate! In an effort to solve this burning (sic) problem, I have tried many different types of leakproof travel mug of varied prices, with varying degrees of success. Usually even the most leakproof end up spilling because I fall asleep before screwing the top back on or pushing the nozzle back down. It’s like I have tea-induced narcolepsy, but only in bed! 😆 THIS MUG IS MY SAVIOUR!!! Finally I’ve found a mug that won’t spill if I fall asleep, because it only allows liquid out when I’m pressing the button - it’s sealed by default! Hurrah!!! I cannot tell you what a relief it is to know I don’t have to forego my favourite hot beverages, I don’t have to change my bedding 2 or 3 times a week in the middle of the night due to tea spillage, and I don’t have to worry about ruining yet another mattress due to it being wet all the time! Much rejoicing has been done in this dojo, because of this wonderful mug and its fantastic autoseal feature that makes it completely leakproof except when I’m pressing the button to open the drink hole. Yes, this mug is pricey, even the sale price I paid could buy a couple of different brand mugs - but they are vastly inferior to this wonder of the mug world. Rather than pricey, I would describe it as ‘premium’, a high quality drinking device that’s worth its weight in gold, because it’s solved what was a massive problem for me. Apart from that, it’s a great-looking mug, it keeps drinks hot for hours, and it’s easy to clean - the autoseal mechanism just pops out on a hinge for easy cleaning then you click it back in and you’re ready to go. Some things are expensive because they’re a rip off, some are expensive because they are very high quality and incredibly well put together. This mug falls into the latter category, it’s worth every penny. Heck I’ve even bought another in the Black Friday Week sale, I’m that impressed with them. A very easy two thumbs up for the best mug on the planet, I thank you and my mattress and sheets thank you, oh great inventors of autoseal 😁 👍🏻👍🏻

I have tried several types of insulated travel mug but I much prefer Contigo. It’s very well made with quality materials and it’s easy to clean. I regularly stick it in the top shelf of the dishwasher and have had no issues. I especially like the auto seal feature which completely prevents leaks until you actually want to drink out of it. If the mug is dropped or knocked over there’s no spillage and the extra lock button allows you to chuck it in a bag without fear of accidental leaks. Keeps drinks hot enough on the average commute and well after. In fact I often have to add a dash of cold water in order to be able to drink it straight away. It’s also quite robust having dropped it on concrete several times with only minor dents and scratches. My colleagues have been impressed with it too and all have bought their own. Great travel mug all round.

An excellent daily travel mug. It keeps drinks hot for hours, is completely leakproof, and feels sturdy and well-made. The Autoseal button is easy to use one-handed and works reliably, making it great for commuting.

Bought to replace a Stanley trigger action travel mug that still works but I just got fed up of trying to clean the lid of the thing (discontinued design). I bought the plain metal cup as I didn't really care about colour and I saw some bad reviews about the quality of the paint on the coloured ones. It's own packaging is basically a plastic bag with a cardboard sleeve around the cup detailing the info/directions/warnings. It had no dents or scratches and the brushed finish to the metal looked good. The lid is plastic and it's pretty big. It's only a slight turn to secure/remove the lid but it's firm and doesn't leak. Some have said that the button is hard to press but I personally haven't found that, it's also quite a big button so easy enough to use 2 fingers. There is a lock button on top to lock the drinking button in the closed position but I haven't really used this as the button is flush enough that an accidental button push is very unlikely. I imagine if the mug was rattling around loosely inside a bag or backpack it might be a concern. The inside of the lid has a tab that you push and the mechanism folds out for cleaning. It can still be a little fiddly to clean but it's so, so, so much better than the stanley in this regard (and the stanley you could partially disassemble). You'll still need a small bottle brush or similar but alternatively throw the lid in the dishwasher (NOT the main body of the cup). At least one review has noted that they broke or disassembled some of the mechanism during cleaning....I have no idea how unless they were being very heavy handed or their was a manufacturing defect in that particular mug. Heat retention. Ok this loses to the stanley somewhat here. It will keep a drink warm for quite some time but definitley not hot. There is a silver lining to this fact, a too hot drink will cool somewhat without the lid needing to be removed. In operation it's a matter of push button, drink, release button. The hole is small but more than large enough for a decent flow. Overall while there maybe travel mugs that retain heat more efficiently I'll take this as it is easier to clean while still keeping a hot drink palatable even after and hour or 2 or 3.

Got this for my husband to take tea on his commute. It does not leak, it wont spill, definitely a quality drink holder.

من افضل الاكواب اللي جربتها وان شاء الله برجع اخذ منه مرة ثانية تنزل درجة حرارة المشروب داخله تدريجياً اول ساعتين حار الى 3 ساعات اذا ما فتحت الكوب او استخدمته اذا فتحته كل شوي او شربت منه يبرد اسرع

Bella bella bella. Che dire comoda, capiente 470 ml, a prova di fuoriuscite di liquido accidentale, bello il colore(verde petrolio) resistente agli urti. Tiene il calore fino a 5 ore. Molto buona. La consiglio.

Bästa termosmuggen jag har haft! Öppnas/stängs med enhandsfattning, så superbra att använda när man t ex kör bil. Den är läckagesäker, då den har något som kallas ”autoseal”, en knapp på baksidan, som man håller in när man dricker. Släpper man knappen så läcker alltså inte muggen även om den ramlar! Vill man vara helt säker, så kan man man dock låsa muggen med en knapp på ovansidan. Då måste man dock komma ihåg att öppna den igen när man ska dricka. 😄 Rymmer hela 4.7 dl och håller både varm och kall dryck läääääänge. Med några isbitar i, så är min iskaffe lika kall efter minst 12 timmar som den var efter 1 timme. Enda minuset är att man måste diska locket invändigt väldigt försiktigt, så inte fjädrarna lossnar, men det har jag löst genom att köpa ett set med miniborstar… och sedan kunde den förstås gärna fått vara lite billigare, men, men… bästa termosmuggen ever!
