Slipped on like a dream, and supported my knee so well that the pain I'd been dealing with for weeks was instantly resolved. However, after one full day's wear, the top began to roll down. The doubled fabric created almost a tourniquet effect, causing the knee to swell even more. I left it off for about a week, allowing time for the swelling to fully dissipate, but now it rolls at the top the minute I put it on. The top band should be wider to prevent this. Might work better for someone with thinner thighs.

I am a seasoned citizen but still definitely active though I need knee support. I own and use different brands of these elastic knee supports. This particular brand does the best for me. They fit snug, cover a long enough area above and below the knee to spread the load and support. I use them if one or both knees acts up or if I plan to hike or climb on uneven surfaces or such that requires more than just average walking on level ground. They have prevented any age related injuries by just slipping them on when I know my knees could be stressed. I especially like the stability they produce and they stay in place. I have left them on all day and night which seems to provide compression as well. I generally do not tolerate them for more than 24 hours but all day or through the night works well. I do feel comfortable recommending these as the best option I know of.

I love these braces! I have problems with my knees, so I wear them whenever I'm going to do a significant amount of walking/standing, and when I drive my car. They are lifesaver at my retail job where I do a significant amount of bending, stooping, standing, and walking! I have purchased at least three pairs of these over time, and they have not let me down yet. They eventually get stretched out enough that they don't fit anymore, but I wear them almost everyday. I consider this to be just normal wear and tear, not a fault of the product. Few products are this good. Unlike so many other braces, They are a simple elastic sleeve. No straps, no gapping, no metal pieces or stabilizers. The latter two things are a plus in particular -- I have a family member who worked in orthopedic surgery for many years. He recommended to not use a knee brace that has stabilizers in it, because of the pressure it can put on the joint, that could cause things to get out of place. (I am not a doctor, I'm just sharing an observation from a member of the medical community.) I will continue to buy these braces as long as they make them. I am 5'5". 150 lbs. I use the L/XL. The only downside is that they don't make an XXL/XXXL. For people who have a big build, are significantly overweight, or are short and stocky, the L/XL might be too small. I wash these in a lingerie bag and air dry them. They dry pretty quickly. I have purchased every pair that I have used. I was not compensated to write this review. Happy walking!!!

It doesn't have the rubber inside to adhere itself to you, so it tends to slide/roll down thigh, then bunch up behind my knee. Support around knee area is very nice. Thigh part is not as nice.

This is used by a person with bone on bone and provides much relief, keeping the knee from bending inward. You can only know if this works for you by trying one, I figure. She also uses other Mueller knee supports, depending on how the knee feels on any given day and on the nature of her activities. Anything that gives relief is great.

I wish it came in a size bigger. The fabric is nice and soft, but it’s too small for my sore knee, and feels like it’ll slip down on my other knee. I’m bummed that I didn’t measure my knee before I ordered it.

Good product and fast shipping

I use this when exercising, but it's tight, which is fin when actually walking or exercising. I use a larger size, different brand for generally moving around during the day.
