Parker Brothers Card Games: Racko, Free Parking, Rook - PC

The box this product comes in is clearly marked "Win 95/98", unlike the listing for the product on amazon.com which clearly says "Platform: Windows XP." I already have this version of the game which runs on Windows XP with problems. First, there is a problem with the sound files on the game -- they get hung up so the introductions don't work. None of the tutorials for the Win 95/98 version of the came work on Windows XP either, so if you don't already know how a game is played, you won't be able to find out. So if you have a Windows 95/98 computer (which I seriously doubt given that it's 2011), fine, buy this game. But if you have Windows XP, don't be fooled.

This does not work on any Windows 8 or 8.1, though no such limitation is provided.

I've had this game before and it got ruined, so I was thrilled to see it on Amazon.com and had to buy it. However, my excitement was short lived. I couldn't get it to even load on my computer, I even tried a different computer and it wouldn't load on it either. It makes a handy "bookend" to keep my other games from tipping over though. It would have been nice to play it again, if anyone wants it they are welcome to it.

Helped me to learn card games that I did not know how to play.Does not work with current PCs. I think the last version it worked with was W98

I had to return them as they didn't work on my computer. I have received other gamesw and they work fine. Thank you for your good work.

2 day delivery very prompt. dvd in good shape, easy to install and i have had hours of fun with the rook game and racko. love it.

It does not keep any game you start and have to leave. Also the tutorial part does not work or give you info how to play certain games.It was worth the money I paid for it.
