Love it!!! It's a great sitting and standing desk for using a laptop/tablet and for reading.
I have used it for over a year now as my laptop stand. In bed, on the desk as a standing desk, and even outdoors. Also, I'm buying a second one for dual use.I love it!!! It's very sturdy (You do have to get used to setting the angles correctly. This is not a big deal, and having the angle degrees on the joints [see pic] helps a lot on this.)The legs slide in to the bottom holder and they can be held down further with the included screws [see pic]. In my case I chose not to use the screws as I have to remove the legs to fit the table in my backpack. Even so, they have never slipped out. In fact its still a bit had to pull the legs out after over a year of use. To the point that I still do it carefully, due to fear of breaking them. After all, they are made of plastic. The dual fan does a great job at pulling hot air away from the laptop, and its very quiet. Sadly, even though the cable connects to a USB port for power, the other end is a regular laptop like power plug. Therefore, it It's hard to replace if damaged, and as you case in the pic mine has started to bend. (Not surprising since I move the table around a lot, as far as carrying it inside a backpack, and sometimes I forget to remove this cable.) Hence, I'd rather it be a micro USB which is easier to replace. As, I said at the start I love this table. I have used it as intended, but also as a writing desk, projector stand, and most recently bed reading stand for both books and tablet. This last use is the main reason I decided to get another. This way I can have a dual setup that is not limited to my desk.Oh, almost forgot. It brings two slide on plastic holders to make the border taller, but my laptop is thin enough that I don't use them. However, I did have to use them once with a different laptop.

Nice product, worthless screwdriver
So far I am very happy with the product itself. The assembly needed would likely be an issue for many people. Plenty of spare screws are provided, but they are very small and need to be driven into plastic that only has a small pilot dent. The real difficulty comes with the screwdriver provided. It is too narrow for the screws. When inserted into the head of the screws, there is unfilled space around the screwdriver and the screws wobble around. They should sit flush and firm. I attempted to use it since it was provided, but for both of the screws I tried, it stripped the heads before they were halfway in, and would not turn them any further. I grabbed a standard PH1 - Phillips #1 screwdriver and had no issues, even while using the two screws that were stripped too much for the included screwdriver to work with.As for the stand itself, it is a good size for me to use over my lap (though I am a smaller person) and fits my 15" MacBook Pro nicely. There are many options for arranging the legs, so some experimenting may be needed for the most stable setup in a particular setting, but I am very satisfied with the stability. I am using it sitting on my couch right now and it is much nicer than what I did before I got this, which was resting the laptop on a firm pillow on my lap. I am not using the side mousepad stand, so I am glad that it does not have to be attached. It might be useful to hold things like an external drive or small water bottle.

Great for Laptops, not so great for fighting Zombies.
Presuming you're not trying to weaponize this device for bashing in the skulls of the undead, this is a really useful device. As a Zombie fighting weapon, Id give this pretty low marks. It's far too blunt and lightweight to deliver any sort of serious damage to a horde of lifeless zombies heading in your direction. But, as a means of propping up a laptop computer, it's really well done. It's small enough to carry to a meeting where they're not going to provide a standing desk for you. But super versatile. I've used it on a normal table, a kitchen counter, and also sitting on the couch so your legs to get hot fromt he laptop. bonus is the 2 USB powered fans. I had to glue on a few strips of neoprene foam I had laying around to create a bit of airflow under the laptop, otherwise the fans can't really do much. But with that little addition, they're doing great. not too noisyWhat I wish is that they'd give you some settings (each of the three adjustment points has degree numbers so that you can remember your settings). I've taken to taping the settings to the inside leg so I can just go from there for different applications.Overall, a well made (not super solid, it's light gauge aluminum after all) unit. the joints are all plastic but seem to hold just fine w a 15" Macbook. I'm not sure it's really worth $40, but I can't find a better price. It also came with a little side tray, too small for a mouse pad, I use it for a place to have my iPhone handy while I'm working.
