Kenneth Cole used to mean quality shoe
Just cheap materials. I don't think a thinner piece of leather could be found so Kenneth Cole gave thego ahead. I haven't been in the market for a decent pair of casual shoes so I guess I missed it when Kenneth Cole started to sell less than quality shoes. I relied on my personal experience. I bought great quality shoes from Kenneth Cole since the late 80's. Those shoes were equal to any quality shoe from Italy and every one of them lasted beyond 10 yrs. I gave them away because they were out of "style' npt at all worn out or falling apart. That's why i gave them away, they weren't ready for the garbage. The people i gave them to said "Thank you".The above mentioned, new Kenneth Cole, shoes looked like a pair of shoes you' d buy on Florsheim back in the days. Remember that cheesey look they 'had"? Yeah, had. Florsheim stepped up their game for tjeir customets. And Kemneth Cole could care less. The design is fly. That' s why I ordered them. But, the quslitu of the materials used to make the shoe does NOT earrant the exuberant prices Kenneth Cole wants us to pay. He wants us to continue giving him the premium money we gave him when he was giving us a premium I'm a sick of these companies treating us like garbage and taking us ( consumer) for granted. It's such an insult. Unless we send their products back, which I did, the quality of the merchandise we purchae have no where else to go but down

They are very good everyday shoes that you can wear with jeans and ...
I usually go through 2 pairs of these shoes every year. I only get the brown ones. They are very good everyday shoes that you can wear with jeans and khakis. As the other reviewers stated, the quality is not that great. Kenneth Cole used the cheapest materials, but you get what you pay for. The sole is made of very soft and cheap material and the heels will disappear very quickly and the wood will start to show. You can get the heels repaired for $25 if you don't want to spend the money to buy another pair. The topside is sturdy. If you don't use shoe polish and only use a shining sponge, you will get a distressed look after a few months and it looks really good with jeans. I usually get the shoes water-proofed when I first get them. I'm usually a size 10, but I always found the shoes to become a little loose after a month or so. I just got a 9.5M last week. It was a bit tight at first but I'm already seeing improvements after wearing them 4-5 times. I think it'd be perfect after a couple of weeks. The size 10 usually becomes a little too loose.I really want to try the black ones, but it seems that no one is happy about the stitching. At least they used brown materials for the stitching and it doesn't become white. I had that happen on another pair of Kenneth Cole shoes. I don't expect too much from cheap shoes.

Avoid This Shoe
I usually buy Kenneth Cole Reaction shoes but I have seen the quality slowly deteriorate over the years. This last pair is the straw that broke my back. The stitching that protrudes from the seam rubs on various objects and shows the gray color underneath. These shoes looked bad after only a couple of month. Done with you Kenneth and your crappy shoes.

Love these shoes
These are my typical work shoes. I'm in NYC so I do a lot of walking to and from work and also at work. I go up and down steps all day. These are perfectly comfortable and look great. I'm on my third pair! The sidewalks will wear the soles down. They are the first to go but they last a good amount of time. Mines did anyway. It's true that the stitches are painted black so using some sharpie on it when the stitching gets scuffed does wonders for upkeep. I always like to have a pair on backup. These are great for both work and special occasions.I'm a size 10.5m and it seems true to size. I noticed that my toes are a good .75 inches from the front but that's because of the square toe design and my shoe never feels like it's slipping of my foot.

Great Shoes!
These fit perfectly for me. Though beware, I have narrow feet. If you have wide feet these will not fit you. My feet measures just about 4 inches wide and they fit nice and slightly snug, which after some use the leather will stretch to fit as a tight snug fit to the right fit. I also had to push my feet in and pulled the heel with a finger to get the shoes on, not dramatically, but I didn't just slipped these shoes on, in one easy go like Cinderella, with just a slender slide of my foot. Nonetheless after breaking these shoes in they would be perfect.

My Third Pair
I usually buy these shoes from the Kenneth Cole store near my house, but found them here, and at a cheaper price. I wear these shoes to work with slacks and when I go out on nice jeans and they usually last about a year. When you first get them, the bottoms are pretty slippery, so be careful, and be careful with the threads on the outside, one small scratch while walking and it will stick out, but the shoes look and feel great. They are not too shiny nor are they too dull, just the right shade. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who needs them for just casual dress shoes for work or a night out.

Major disappointment
Disappointed. Usually I like REACTION stuff but I am becoming more and more disappointed. This shoe- not a quality product for what you pay. in the first week of ownership, my foot got scraped by a rock where the oversize stitches run around the top of the shoe, revealing a grey fabric mesh underneath. Not leather. Cheaply made for this price. Also they fit so tightly from top to bottom that your feet are hot and sweaty within an hour. Would not reccommend or buy again.

Get ready to be in pain...
The look nice on the outside and price was reasonable. Then when you wear it, the top front lip is stiff and painful as hell. It wants to cut you where most other brands/models are softer and forgiving. Maybe it will break in and get nicer but right now, the leather feels like hard plastic cutting into your skin. (YES I ordered the right size). The support on your heels were ok and comfortable enough, that's why it got 2 stars instead of 1.
