Tayama Rice Dispenser, 20 kg/44 lb.

Great looking rice dispenser. Top and bottom ends are made of plastic as well as side handles and rice exhaust opening, the body is brushed stainless steel. Fits right in with all the other stainless steel appliances. Each setting (there are 3) dispenses a little less rice than measured with a measuring cup but no big deal. Item was too tall to fit in my desired location (under counter top) but I was able to remove the plastic cover/top, cut off 1.5" and reinstall the cover/top. Looks factory modified and fits perfectly! Do not try cutting the top off with a hack saw or tin snips!

Hate it! The measurements are not accurate and it is not airtight. So, we wound up with 40 pounds of rice infested with grain bugs. This was a giant waste of money and space in my garbage can

Was supposed to hold rice airtight but it doesn't. Just kind of like a metal box that costs a bit much. Haven't had any luck with the dispenser either. Meant to return it but ran out of time.

It's cute! And I love it. It's perfect. It dispenses in small amounts just for some information but I don't mind.
