Perfect, but a pet peeve
This is just beautifully designed. It feels like something you want to touch and visually Sigg have hit the aesthetic perfectly - it is just a lovely object. Functionally it works well, it’s light and easy to open and I like the wide mouth. Others have criticised the slightly streaky finish, but I love it. I also like the moves to make this carbon neutral - aluminium smelting is a high-energy activity. My only pet-peeve is the label on the bottom (which, among other things, tells you not to insert body parts) which was difficult to remove. I used vodka, but WD40 would probably work. Why oh why do companies use adhesive which is hard to remove? Or why not just put the information on the paper tear-off label on the neck. Anyway, l love it.

Looks great but a dents easy
Bought because of the design and convenient size however it does ding quite easy, in fact it arrived with one and has racked up a couple more since. Not too much of an issue as it adds a bit of character but just a warning to anyone else.Small changes I’d like to see would be to make it more durable, have the outside of the lid match the metal of the bottle rather than using plastic and finally place the logo currently on the lid on the base of the bottle.

Quality, clean, long lasting
I have been buying SIGG for years. They are excellent quality, easy to clean and no nasty smells as stainless steel. Expensive but worth it.

Disappointing Sigg model
I already had a bigger 1L Sigg water bottle - what I consider the classic one, with the screw on top - that I’ve had for 20 years and it was flawless! I got this .5L Sigg, specifically to fit in a small day-bag and I was hoping for the same flawless performance as my larger Sigg bottle. The actual metal and lining of the bottle look good. However, the cap, specifically the seals, let it down. It leaked in my bag - really annoying as the bag was nice and new and now water stained… The problem with so many things like this is purpose - it’s a bottle for carrying around, not for using at home… so if it leaks, of what use is it?It’s an expensive purchase, but nowhere near as good as the other one I had for over 20 years, so I can’t really recommend it.

Quality counts.
I did consider buying the more expensive titanium water bottles from unheard of brands but I was concerned about the quality of, and availability replacement seals for the screw caps. The seals on the Sigg are thick and looks like they'll last. I even bought a replacement cap with seal.Recommended.
