Excellent quality easy to use.

For all experienced bakers and pastry chefs , i doubt this would be of much use. However for those of us less gifted at determining the the thickness of our pie/flan bases and crusts, this works just fine . The addition of spacers of varying thickness that can be added on to the end of the rolling pin means that even the clumsiest of us can get the depth just right.Just need someone to invent the automatic rolling pin

Great bit of kit only reason for 4 stars is sometimes you have to push the end of the roller that holds the discs on

Purchased for clay. The thickness guide rings make it perfect for my needs. Good large size too. well worth the money.

It’s not as sturdy as I expected but I bought it to make sure all my pastry mostly biscuits were same thickness. It does the job without me having to keep stopping and checking it. Happy with purchase

I was worried about the disks being flimsy, or them not being secure because some reported that the end nuts did not tighten down properly. Those issues must have been addressed, because mine locks down tight, even with just one disk, and the disks themselves are pretty robust. I really like how I can get an exact thickness to my dough when using this rolling pin. It is also nice and wide, has a good heft to it. Nothing to complain about from my end.
