OWB TLR-1 Holster - Black (Right-Hand, Springfield XDM 9/40/45-4.5" Model)

I want to clear up some confusing reviews on this holster. I cannot speak for any other fit of a firearm other than my own. I have a Springfield Armory’s XDM ELITE TACTICAL with optics and this holster fits it perfectly. The retention is perfect which is great because it is not adjustable. It’s tight enough I feel it would stay in place if I had to go into a run while wearing it, but still easy to draw. Also great because it will never change on you. The fit with the Streamlight TRL1-HL is also perfect. It does set high in the holster but retention is good enough you definitely do not feel that is a problem. The build quality is spot on and the threaded barrel fits perfectly as well. The price is unbelievable at $39 and can’t be beaten. Especially if the add is true about 💯 percent made in the USA 💪.

This thing is TIGHT!!! It is so tight that you have to pull hard enough that you will bring your pants up to your ribs before it ever let's go of the sidearm. Do NOT buy this product, it will get you killed if you ever need to draw from this!

What's great about the holster is that when I'm walking around between stages it really locks the firearm in place, though with the slide slightly out of battery, which is not a problem since IDPA matches are always on "cold" ranges. Then when I load for the stage I just push the gun into the holster until it's in place but not trying to push the slide out of battery and it comes right to hand for the draw. This one is for a SA XDm with a laser. I'll run it in matches when we're back in full swing after Wuhan is past and will update after more use. But after a couple of hours practice today, I'm loving it.

Retention could be slightly higher but doesn't fall out freely. I prefer a positive connect/disconnect feeling when using. Not many light bearing options so this one is the best so far for the design.

It's a cheap holster. The weapon kinda fits but the retention is only in one spot on the gun around the frame. Was hoping it would be a better fit since the price was right, but it is what it is.Have plenty of other kydex holsters that fit better than this.

Don’t buy this holster unless you either want to wrestle it for your pistol or never want your gun to accidentally come out.

Firearm with light fits perfectly into holster unfortunately there is zero retention very little clicking sound as Firearm is holstered When turning holster upside down firearms falls easily out kind of disappointed
