Monster High Freak du Chic Honey Swamp Doll

In her latest incarnation Honey Swamp is part of the Freak du Chic Circus, and she plays the part of the “Mysterious Marionette”. If you are a Monster High fan that loves a slightly sinister carnival atmosphere, you will love this new Honey doll as much as I do.Monster High collectors love the little details. In Honey’s case she has been accessorized with balloon animals. She has a bright green balloon dog purse, a pink balloon dog necklace, and the bottom of her knee-high white lace up boots are decorated with pink balloon dogs that form the heels. These are the perfect circus accessories. Because Honey is a marionette she has green ribbon puppet strings around her wrists that attach to a green puppet control bar.Honey’s gorgeous tight curls are a bright shade of lavender that is highlighted with a light mint green. Her hair is styled into two poofy pom-pom ponytails. Honey has circus themed makeup, with exaggerated harlequin eye makeup, purple brows, and two toned pink and teal lipstick that shows her fangs. Because Honey is the Daughter of the Swamp Monster, her bright turquoise skin is covered with twisted filigree vines. These decorations are visible on her arms and legs. Honey’s dress is short and sleeveless in a print of stripes and dots. Her dress is in colors of black, hot pink, purple, turquoise and white. Her dress has a slightly tattered overskirt of broad black and white circus stripes. (Please note: Honey’s dress looks quite a bit different than in the Amazon photo – her dress does not have the striped bodice like in the picture).Finally, Honey comes with a doll stand and a small poster. Like all Monster High dolls, Honey is made for play but has many small parts that could become lost or broken if she is handled roughly. Honey also has multiple points of articulation so she can be posed in endless ways. (In her box Honey is posed in a great broken puppet pose). I adore this version of Honey and can’t wait to construct an appropriate circus themed display for her and the other Freak du Chic dolls.

So many awesome details in this fangtastic Honey Swamp from the Freak du Chic line! She is a marionette doll and comes ribbons looped around her wrists going up to the puppet handle. She also has a balloon animal purse and necklace as well as a balloon animal on the heels of her sweet lace-up boots. She has a light mint stripe in her hair as well as a very detailed face-up. She has a couple of layers in her striped dress but as other clothing the edges of the skirts are not hemmed. As with her other releases she has swamp details on her body mold. She comes with a stand and her poster. One more note: her dress will vary in pattern, find one that you like best. (I have two and had to keep both because her dresses look almost completely different) I love this Honey Swamp (even though her limbs function differently than her other releases). I think she is my pick of the three that have been released and this really think this line is amazing.

Love love love this doll! Got for my daughter for Christmas because she's obsessed with monster high dolls, we do not have a single Barbie in our house, they're all monster high! Any ways, this doll is so original, from her awesome curly hair, to her puppet like limbs, she is definitely a must have for every little girls mh collection.

Was new looking but did appear like it had been opened and that parts of the packaging inside that was for looks were moved and weren't able to be put back. It was a gift and I had wished that the packaging was nicer. But it was worth the price and the shipping time was also good.

My 5 year old daughter was excited to receive the freak du chic Honey Swamp as a gift. She is pisable, comes with a doll stand, or you can hang her like a marionette from the freak du chic circus set. Her hair is beautiful, and mu daughter loved the mini poster that came with his doll.

this honey is gore-geous! from her fluffy afro pigtails to her balloon animal accessories, i love her! her knees and hands are floppy to provide more to the marionette facade but her elbow, shoulder and hip joints are just like on any other monster high doll, if you buy this honey you may notice her hands are on a hook style joint, dont worry! her hands still come out like normal to slip her ribbons on for playtime, if you're a collector a fun thing to do is hang her from a hook and let her dangle for display, but maybe put a pair of shorts or bloomers on under her dress if you dont want a plastic pantie peep show while shes hanging

She is my most favorite Monster High doll so far! I love her poofy hair and her eyes! I wish that her legs were not so floppy, but I know they are meant to be that way, it just makes it hard for actually playing with her.

this doll was super cute, but literally after an hour of play she had no appendages! her hands, forearms, and legs fell off. her hair became a matted mess and my daughter mashed her appendages with other monster high dolls that also fell apart! now she has be stricken with no arms, Caution all Monster High doll will become amputees! all parts are small so they get lost. not good construction for such a great idea. also the rubber bands in her legs wore out in a week so now she cant stand so she has become a paraplegic, if this doll was a dog we would have to put her down!!!
