Great resource for the classroom!

I bought this book to help my 7 year old daughter to help her with her writing. Really nicely written and I hope will be a good practice book for my daughter.

I’ve used several of these prompts with my students. You can use them as is or change them up to personalize your instruction.

This book is great as a reference. It lists tons of great writing prompts for students of all ages, including my third graders. Prompts are sorted into categories, easy to find, and can be modified for grade level/age. Even my son, a reluctant writer, has found some prompts he thinks are great.

Purchased these for my granddaughters for Christmas. They are 9 and 10 yrs old. They really enjoy them.

It's a surprising that this book has 500 prompts for the kids to work with. But I feel a little bit disappointed to find out there is no sample writing at all....

I'm not in grade school anymore, but a lot of these prompts made me think of things I'd like to write! Well worth the paltry $2.95 I paid for it. If you're into prompts, and you want to get back to basics, get this book!

I thought this book would inspire my kids to write creatively.But I find much of the content to be about useless things... TV (which in our house is limited), romance (which I prefer not to get my 7 year old girl focused on, thankyouverymuch), and other things that just don't fit our lifestyle.I suppose for an "average" American family, this would maybe be a homerun. But for us, it just wasn't great. It was sadly a waste of money.
