Everything I had expected...
If you use trekking poles (I have just converted to them after a 24 mile day trek) and you are looking for a lightweight (1.1kg) multi-day tent with PLENTY of head height and room then I challenge you to find a better value tent. You could argue that it is a very expensive tarp BUT the ingenious pegging and construction makes it so much more. Ive experiemented with the trekking pole heights and it effectively allows you to create either an airy summer set-up or more protective, slightly lower set-up for more windy or wet conditions. The reviews on-line all pick up on the ram head plastic connector as a weak spot and I tend to agree...it is also incredibly fiddly to fit from inside when you are settling in for the night....Im looking at a modification. A few ยฃs but its a shame 3 FUL hasnt added a metal alternative. Also, if you plan to use it in very windy conditions with soft ground you may want to upgrade the 6โ stakes. The tent only uses 8 stakes weighing 90g so how you want to compromise is your choice. These minor cost cutting points by the supplier and considering the purchase price are the reason I have scored 4 not 5.Iโm consider if I need a footprint and/or entrance cover...i'm going to trial and decide. Again, the tent is so flexible in use that it gives you so many options.Lastly, the Lanshan 2 (not Pro) has taped seams so you only need to seal the side guy connectors.

Solid as a rock but the rain fly gap can be an issue in fog with heavy wind
Tested in the highest of winds on Dartmoor and it brushed it off no problem. It is very stable of erected correctly. The large gap between the rain fly sheet and the ground can be an issue in some circumstances. Where I was pitched the wind direction change and was blowing fog right under and onto the inner fly and water did start to build up and drip on the inner groundsheet. It wasnโt a major issue as I was camping alone but with two people then one would be against the wet inner fly.I have been in very heavy rain and stood up extremely well (I did seam seal it).Would give it 5stars if the gap between rain fly and ground was much smaller.

Small, extremely lightweight, sets up to a very good size tent for 1 person
Firstly the tent arrived much sooner then expect so that was great. I was amazed at how small and light weight the tent is when packed away in its bag. I've set this up in my garden a few times now, there's no set up instruction so there was some figuring out to do. Luckily there are plenty of videos online to help. After the third time setting up, I had pretty much mastered pitching in under 5 minutes, it's very straight forward once you know how. The tent it's self is fantastic, great build quality, wonderfully airy and spacious for 1 person, would be cramped with 2 people and gear, I will definitely use solo and would go for something a little bigger if I needed to share the tent. The pegs that come with the tent seem ok but I did bend one slightly which was a surprise to me considering I was only setting up on my home grass and the peg him no stones so definitely be careful when placing them in the ground. You do get 8 pegs but I only used 6 to set up so have 2 as spare just in case. It rained very heavily when the tent was up in my garden, it was in very heavy rain for nearly 2 days and I didn't notice any leaks what so ever. The inside tent kept perfectly dry. When I packed the tent away, it fits back in the supplied sack very easily and compresses back to its original tiny size very easily which is great as this will take very little room in my backpack. Overall I am very pleased with the tent, I am looking forward to doing some proper camping in it soon and I feel very confident I will be comfortable in my lanshang 2.

Happy camper
Was going to use Aliexpress to get the lanshan but decided to go for this from amazon as its exactly the same specs wise pretty much the same cost wise and faster delivery, wanted a light weight tent that didn't break the bank and I'm happy with it, light weight had plenty of space good pack size and easy to pitch once you know your walking pole height, the only thing you will need to do is seam seal the guide rope points on ether end of the tent, oh and if you do buy this tent be sure not to untie the looped knots on the guide ropes on the doors ๐

I love this value for money Lanshan 2
I really love this tent. It's a 3 season tent which I wouldn't use it in windy conditions and it does use lighter, cheaper materials than top of the range tents, but for value for money I think it's great. It weights 1150g and it goes up really easily (after watching a couple of pitching videos on YT). By using lower pole heights (115-120 cms) you can pitch the fly closer to the ground to minimise drafts. It is now firmly part of my warmer weather lightweight pack and I'd definitely recommend it. I mainly solo camp but still go for 2 person tents so I can get all my gear inside in inclement weather. That said, the vestibules are a good size too. I won't be using anything else until the colder weather and even then I might try it with the 4 season inner.

Love this tent
Very lightweight, easy to pitch, full mesh inner means you can get a great view of your surroundings while hidden away from midges/mosquitos. The lightweight steaks it come with do the job nicely. I watched a YouTube video before pitching to see the best way to pitch. I'd definitely use a groundsheet with this tent as the material for the base is just as thin as the upper. I'm not sure how this tent will hold up in strong winds (eg high altitude / exposed) Have used it so far on the West Highland Way and Great Glen Way and it has been great especially in warm weather the ability to get a 'through draught' from the double doors was amazing.

Great tent
Iโm in mine right now.I tell everyone to get oneNeeds a decent size pitch and ground suitable for pegs. Itโs not just find a spot and throw it up.But once itโs up oh boy, a palace.Easy to rig for me, I can see some might find it a hassle, needs to be done I. The right order.Itโs up and down in under 5 minsWinter and summer innersNot had it in full on winds yet but others have reviewed it well
