A great addition to the journey game
I bought this and the "Dwellers in Darkness" expansion for a LOTR superfan as a gift. We greatly enjoyed how these add to the experience of playing the game with the named figures, and the extra items for the game.

Good, but not essential
Great detailed miniatures, but there are only three of them and they are specific characters (boss characters) that won't be used very often.Not an essential purchase to enjoy the game.

A good first expansion but...........
This is a good first expansion for the Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-Earth but I felt when I bought it I over payed as I found it in my local games shop at a cheaper price. I don't know whether this has or will drop in price but I would be inclined to shop around. I felt for what I paid for it there wasn't much in the box. Lets just say its a good expansion if found at the right price.
