Can this be mounted inside a cabinet?

Hi Mary! Yes, the lift can be mounted inside of a cabinet and that is the intended use. A few things that you need to keep in mind:1. You will need to have a lid that hinges open. The lift will push the lid open when it raises and rest on the back of the lift.2. The lift has 2 sets of mounting points. There are 6 mounts points on the bottom of the lift for attaching the lift to the floor of the cabinet and 2 on the back of the lift to mount the lift to the back wall of the cabinet.3. The total depth of the lift and brackets is 7". The total inner depth that you would need is 7" (for lift), plus the depth of your TV, plus another 0.5"-1" of clearance in front of the TV.As others have mentioned, the lift is very easy to install if you cabinet supports the points mentioned above. I have a 65" LED Samsung UN657050 that weighs 51lbs. Will it work with your lift? Is the 65.5" raised height measured at the top or bottom?

Hello. Our has 33" of stroke when fully raised. When lowered, the lift is 32.5" tall. When fully raised, the lift is 65.5" tall.

Is it possible to Memphis to the back of an entertainment center directly instead of the wall?

If placing the lift BEHIND an entertainment center, there is not front mount to mount to the back of an entertainment center. You would need space between the entertainment center and the lift for the TV to move freely up and down.

Impossible to believe, but just as nice as you could hope!

Everything you would expect and great customer service!It took me several months to get to the project that included adding this lift to my remodel, but when I finally did, it worked exactly as advertised and was easy to set up. The construction is really solid, which I was concerned about when ordering it online without seeing it in person. I couldn't be happier.When I initially set it up the RF remote wasn't working, and my first thought was, "Great, now I find the headache in this too good to be true adventure." No headache!!! Brian at Touchstone was super helpful, knew exactly what the issue was, and sent me the replacement battery. Yes, I said battery, and I'm thoroughly embarrassed that I jumped to the "Houston, we have a problem" conclusion before figuring it out myself. Brian is great, the product is great, and I would recommend it to anyone. Definitely adds a luxury touch to a luxury house.

TV mounting is not secure and poorly designed.

This product has two jobs mounting a TV and lifting a TV. Lifts the TV just great. I'm sure depending on how far apart the mounting screws are on the back of the TV if could be fine. But because of the unintelligent mounting design it doesn't allow for all TVs to be mounted securely. Even the cheapest of TV mounts are more secure than this attachment. I'm so disappointed with product I have lost interest talking about it. If you buy it you will see what I mean and will buy an additional TV mount and attach it like I did to keep your TV Safe.

Very reliable.

Bought this because there was nowhere to effectively hang a TV in the master bedroom. Works flawlessly and easy to install (you'll just need to be handy with a screw gun/driver if you're securing it to the wall and floor).

Awesome "hide-a-TV"!!

How outstanding it is to not have to see that "black box" of a tv all the time! Everyone who sees our "hide-a-tv" just goes crazy over it. If you follow the instructions exactly, it's not hard to build your custom system!
