This headlamp is inexpensive yet works very well! I bought one for my brother and he liked it so well I ordered one for my husband. It's easy to operate and maintain. Anytime you need two hands for doing something and a flashlight takes one of those hands, you'll find this headlamp to be invaluable! It's nice and bright and wherever your head points, so does the light! (It has the red light function, which my husband used many years ago in the Navy, but we haven't used it for anything yet. He tells me it's for nighttime reading without the glare of white light...) It's excellent for help in making repairs, going out to check the breaker box, going out at night to check on or repair something, etc. Such a useful item at such a reasonable price! (A great gift item for the males AND females in your life...stocking stuffer? white elephant game gift? hobby enthusiast?)

Got these for the wife who is not a biker, hiker, walker etc. Used to find lost, small objects like ear rings under a chair or couch or to illuminate a dark corner for moving furniture etc and freeing up both arms and hands. We have pet dogs and if taken out in the yard to do their business in the dark, half the front yard is illuminated! Not had to use the red light yet. Headband soft and comfortable and easy to adjust. It only takes two AA batteries and puts out a more powerful light than the illustrations show. Good to have if the power goes out at night in the house. Good value!

I bought this headlamp to replace my "old faithful" headlamp that I had for years. I was hesitant at first to buy an energizer headlamp for fear of it being gimmicky, but I didn't have much time to research as I needed it for work as a parcel delivery person. I can say that I was blown away at how bright the white light is...I inadvertently turned it on after putting the battery case back on and it darn near blinded me! The night vision light is great as well, I can find things in my cab without having to wash out the cab with white light. The button is simple...push it once for white light, push it again for night vision, and once more to turn it off. (My previous light had a slide switch which was at times a pain to use when wearing gloves)As far as negatives, it's a "fixed" light so I have to dip my head to point the beam down (my previous light was able to tilt from the housing). That's about it.....it's a good product (with batteries included) at a good price.

Now that the days are getting shorter, it's totally dark when I leave the barn after riding, and I walk to a parking lot without any lighting. I thought my iPhone flashlight was good enough until I had to step off the roadway to avoid a car and put my foot directly into a hole I couldn't see, tripped, and nearly face planted. So this is my upgrade and it's great. It's bright, it lights a wide area in front of me, it's comfortable to wear, and it's doing fine with getting knocked around in my barn bag. And it's a pretty great deal at about $10.

Light-wise, this is great! Battery life is also good. It has one fatal flaw that makes it useless as a headlight, at least for me. The light is fixed and cant be directed, and so it will never quite shine on what you're looking at. It work OK for walking around and seeing in the dark, generally, but it is useless for close up work or anything where you're not looking straight ahead.

Good for the price! And would be great for something like camping or anything you didn’t need a ton of light for. This was not bright enough to fish at night very easily. It was basically equivalent to the low or dim setting on the more expensive ones (even with fresh batteries). This is still an okay deal for the price though, and excellent battery life!

The old army saying applies here, keep it simple stupid. No bells and whistles a great head band that adjusts easily and a small brilliant light. It has a red bulb so you don’t loose night vision and the weight is not so much that you feel it or need to hold it with one hand when you turn it on or off. I love it and recommend it to friends and family.
