Pebble Grey Bathroom Mirror with LED Lights 390x500mm IP44 – Serena Heated Bathroom Mirror with Lights and Shaver Socket, Wall Mounted Rectangular Lighted Unit with Demister Pad and Motion Sensor

A very stylish and distinctive mirror that has two strips of bright LEDs that do not blind you. Add to this a manually switched demister pad (switch on right side) and a shaver socket (on the left side) and you have everything you need. The lights are switched on by swiping your hand below the bottom right edge. It's a pity the demister pad doesn't turn on with the LEDs or via a similar hands-off switching method, but the manual switch on the right side is protected by a waterproof rubber boot. This mirror is a great bargain and relatively easy to install providing you have mains power cable emerging from the wall. There is only one fixed cable entry point protected by a rubber grommet so in my case I had to cut away some plaster to expose more cable to get the mirror to the height I wanted. The rear case separates from the mirror itself and this rear case is fixed to the wall with four screws. Connect the cable to the terminal block, fit the mirror onto the rear case and job done. One word of caution: there are four screws to secure the mirror to the rear case (each screw also has a rubber washer to prevent moisture ingress) - 2 per side, so if you are fitting near a corner ensure you can reach to fasten these side screws in place with a screwdriver. I had to use a driver bit in a small holder as the stubby screwdriver was too big.

We have had this installed for some time now in our en suite and it really is excellent, it does not fog up and the lights are very good without being overly bright but bright enough to see your face clearly. The mirror itself is easy to clean and having that shaver port is just an absolutely fantastic idea! That is the icing on the cake! The size is big enough for a bathroom and is easy enough to install although i did get an electrician in to do it as it is bathroom electrics but he said it was easy so happy days!

This is a beautiful mirror to fit into a small bathroom, and despite only a small strip of lighting on either side, it distributes the light very well and it's sufficiently bright. The motion sensor works well also, and there aren't many light mirrors I could find with the dimensions we wanted - so this was a rare find. The sensor operates as the on/off switch, and at first I considered returning it as the bulbs are not replaceable - however, they apparently will last for around 100 years so I'm not too worried about that anymore! I haven't yet had a chance to try out the demister, and there is a slight hum even when the light is off, hence the 4/5 rating - I will update as required if that becomes problematic, or if the electrician manages to figure it out. Otherwise, though, HIGHLY recommended!

It is a quality mirror light arrived well packaged and installation was straightforward. I had to drill holes to suit my cable entry position and bonding but this wasn't a problem. I am very pleased with the mirror light, it looks good on the bathroom wall and lights up nicely. The light colour is quite a cool shade, giving the bathroom a nice aura. The no touch sensor works well and the switch for the demister is a nice touch. The shaver socket is standard 2 pin and has a safety isolation transformer which does not hum at all.

compared to other products I had researched this was one of the cheapest, but I have to say that it looks great was easy to install and does what it say on the tin!. lovely mirror with sensor and shaver socket.

As long as your bathroom has a mains supply this little unit has it all! It lights up with a motion detection sensor at the bottom. The mirror has a switch to enable heating of the mirror to avoid it steaming up. To cap it all it has a charger port for toothbrushes or shavers. Very happy.

Things I liked, easy to install, looks great, yes bit of a hum using the charger, but not a big issue. After several weeks, things that I hate - the motion detector is a pain, off by default when switched on from the wall light (our other Pebble model is on by default). But when you swipe your hand underneath it frequently switches on and off in a fraction (contours of hand maybe) The charger is switchable on and off (more switches); I presume to stop the hum everyone talks about when charger not required Up to you if you can live with these - but other than that looks good and very functional

If you've read any of my other reviews relating to items purchased for my new loft bathroom, you may have noted that I'm very pleased with my decor and accessories choices. This is no exception. Bathroom installer had not problem fitting it, motion sensor works well. Had occasion to use the demister, excellent! My husband uses the shaver socket to plug in his electric toothbrush... The price was in the range I thought it should be so would recommend... and it comes in other sizes
